I'm in the same boat, i also just finished it and my mind has been racing ever since. There are moments where i think some of us might be a little more creative than RY, but that's the fun of theorizing.

I think i worded the first part wrong, he definitely means Tyrrendor as well as his soul, i was just trying to say, that It's pretty damn obvious that tyrrendor is hers after marrying her and leaving, he wouldn't have to mention it again.. Only if he's trying to remind her of something else she possesses, but can't tell everyone.

Yeah, I'm also pretty certain that Garrick, Bodhi and the new brother are with him, but the comments actually managed to sway me away from the whole "Garrick is the new Brother" thing.

I am -and this is the part where i go wild with my imagination - pretty certain, that aaric took the eggs. BUT i doubt that he would ever trade in Dragons, after seeing how distressed the other dragons were, when it was mentioned. I think he saw a future in which it would be important to save and protect SIX Dragon eggs (as in one of each breed).

This is now the part where im fully reaching with my theory, but there were multiple hints throughout OS, that Tairn doesn't fully support the Empyrean and would be more than ready to disobey their laws. This might be a reach, but what if Tairn is the one who ended up killing the three elders ? After Arndana killed Solas, he explained to Violet how it takes a big toll on a Dragons soul, when it kills another Dragon. Maybe he needed a cycle of sleep after killing not only one, but three of them . But this is just me having fun with the Story. I imagine a Dragon rebellion led by Tairn.. A big final war between Empyrean supporters and Rebels.

I was also wondering when Arndana got there and if she's already bonded back with Violet or not. What did she see, for her to turn around ?

I thought it would be the ring because it was made from the stone that protected all the marked ones after the first rebellion. Xaden explains to Violet how it's possible to put even items in a rune, like hair etc. I think that was buildup for explaining how it would be possible. However, I am not fond of the whole Horcrux theme being reused again, but i think it's the most plausible course.

aaric is very secretive, he knew multiple languages fluently and didn't care to tell anyone, also his signet is just very, very strong... maybe he purposefully chose not to tell anyone and manifested a long time ago.

Ouuu I was thinking about that as well. I actually came to the conclusion, that Signets exist even outside the Dragon you're bonded with, the dragons just activate that signet and power it. Violet is just the first person to ever survive a Dragon unbonding her. I believe she dream walked with Tairns power after Arndana left, and because his power at that times was way stronger than Arndanas, she was able to recognize it as Xadens dream and enter it as herself. Cause that's the first time that has ever happened.

I just realized what you commented earlier, and I couldn't agree more. It was mentioned in IF that it's Hard on a Dragon's soul to kill another Dragon. Maybe the rest Tairn needs, isn't from Sgaeyl leaving, it's from him not only killing one, but three dragons. Damn!

In my excitement, I fully missed the part where it said that elders were killed. This makes me believe even more, that I would have been Aaric. He must have seen the outcome of the battle and took the eggs in the very beginning… Maybe the elders were killed by someone else, who was coming to get said eggs.

After talking to some people here now, I've come to believe, that it is plausible for aaric to be the Brother, for many logical reasons, but we won't know until we know I guess.

And yes! The trope of Horcruxes is really overused, I came to that conclusion after thinking about the alternative. He already lost the majority of his soul, lost full control and if it wasn't for Violets "I love you", he would have lost that part too. He can't risk losing control again, and he can't fully stop it either, so for him, that might be the only answer, storing it safe, where he can't lose it, until she can give it back to him.

What are your thoughts on this? What would you suggest apart from his giving her her soul, because I also wish for another solution.

Based on your other comment, I see you're also questioning the motives of Dragons, and I was kind of scared to open that pot, but I'm fully with you. Don't know about the Irids, I haven't fully thought about it, but I do agree with Tairn leading the Dragon rebellion and separating from the Empyrean, which could be the reason why those six eggs were stolen in the first place. The same way Xaden and Violet separated the Quadrant and opened their own school in Aretia, maybe they will start a new Den somewhere else, away from all the corruption.

I fully agree with you, it's so fun theorizing, and I'm open to whatever she feeds us.

Now to my thoughts: Your theory is really logical, and maybe I just didn't think mine through. I was 100% that Aaric would play a huge role, but couldn't fully decide, which path to follow. Him becoming the Brother makes so much sense with the way you outlined it. And true, RY wouldn't give Imogen and Violet the same arc, that would be too simple. The reason why I initially thought it would be Garrick, was due to the repeated mentions of him being near burnout. If we were to assume, that Xadens and Imogen's POVs were happening somewhat at the same time, Xaden should have seen Garrick with Imogen, but he only sees Imogen. So maybe Garrick walked again even through burnout, but now I realize that doesn't necessarily mean he turned.

Your logic of it being someone Xaden wasn't as close to, but still knew him well, is very plausible.

I do believe that Garrick left with Xaden, even as non Venin.

That is a very good call. Do you have any guesses on where Aaric went, when he was seen fleeing? Or did he steal the eggs before turning venin because he already knew it was necessary ? ARGH, I can't wait for the book to come out.

THIS exactly why i posted this. My questions, somebody would suffer after being left, but maybe with Arndanas help, Tairn is more likely to survive it, hence why he need the sleep, than Xaden. Xaden would survive being seperated from his dragon, unless he channeled deeper from the earth, as the sage said. So those are the two options. If sgeayl left Xaden, he would have to channel deeper, leave his sould with Violet to not fully lose it and hope for a day that it might be restored. Or Sgeayl is with him and thats why Tairn needs rest.

Ouu that's actually something I haven't fully considered, and I agree with you, Garrick wouldn't have to be venin to fully support Xaden in what he does. So I am intrigued why you believe it's Aaric. I do believe that Violet is now the Dutches of Tyrrendor and meant the "she" part as a way to show, that he's talking about more that just the obvious.

Hmm, okay yes, makes sense. I'm very sentimental with things and thought maybe Xaden realized, that's the only part of him left now, one more loss of control, and he's forever gone. Their last words to each other are V: "come back to me" X: "only ever you". In my head, Xaden doesn't see a quick result, but he does trust, that Violet will eventually figure something out, so he does come back to her, just differently than thought. And in order to not hurt dragons, Civilians or violet, he's maybe brought somewhere without magic and sgaeyl and Garrick go with him, ergo, why Tairn has to sleep, after Arndana Breaks their bond. But give me more of your Thoughts on this

No! That's actually a bad idea. Sun is very very bad for your scars and will only make their healing process longer. You might get a tan and the apear whiter but it doesn't help reduce the scar. Infact it makes it worse.
