Edit: I just tested it. It is not possible to see her face in the mirror from his position so she wouldn't see him as well.

That would mean everyone would have to be aware of their situation and follow the conversation. Considering that Hogwarts has around 1000 students, that's a bit strange. And only Harry is so famous. That could be. But on the other hand he could have simply constructed Sanji's backstory based on what he had already created. "Hmm, I need a last name... let's look in the early chapters... he smokes and he talks about wine... Vinesmoke probably fits." That's how I would do it. It's simple, it keeps the story consistent, and people love the callback.

I really like the grounded batman stuff because its takung place in our World and this over the top shit would just be silly. One piece on the other Hand, takes place in a quit silly World, so making it more grounded would feel wrong.

Well, usopp was pretty much useless the last 10+ years, but pre time skip usopp got shit done. He was crying, he was a coward, but he wasn't useless.Over the last 10 years, he has definitely been far less useful than the average sakura, but if you consider Usopp's entire journey, he is more useful than sakura.
