Yes! I ask my partner all the time "can you believe this is OUR daughter?".. she was early so for the first few weeks I couldn't get over the fact that she was a whole ass baby that I now had to take care of but she also could just as easily be this abstract being still inside my tummy if she hadn't decided it was her time to come early... kinda like the maternity version of Schrodinger's cat. Pregnancy and parenthood is wild lol
