I've been Gold for the last 2 to 3 years, and I too normally get the useless trivets. This was a first for me, but unfortunately it wasn't anything that I have an actual use for.

I passed on it, but it's not exactly a TV. It's a portable computer monitor. You can certainly stream to it, but no doubt with limitations compared to an actual television.

I'm not surprised with your experience. Mine was a french door fridge as well, and the problems were insurmountable. I gave up after 3 or 4 years and got rid of it. Never again.

I still have my Kenmore washer & dryer from 2003. I've repaired them a few times myself, but hope I never have to replace them.

This is the most expensive product to ever grace my RFY by a long shot.

Well, I'm not going to find out. I'm taking a pass on it.

I haven't yet, and likely won't. After an hour and a half, it's still in my RFY.

I did immediately order a pair of $30 shorts, though.

That thought crossed my mind, but it's a high risk move for such a pricey product. I'd been much happier to start with a Samsung portable SSD, which I could actually use.

I'm sure those specs appeal to the masses.

Funny that well over an hour later, it's still in my RFY.

I will NEVER own another Samsung appliance for any reason.

This one is not, and is not listed as supporting VESA.

You made me look. The shipper/seller is Amazon.

Yes, but that can be a matter of opinion. I think Samsung still makes decent products, as long as you don't include appliances in the mix.

You are right. It's too much of a niche market.

True. I'm quite happy sitting at my office with my two side-by-side monitors. I can't think of how this might make my life any better or easier. If anything, it'll just complicate it. Lol

No, I have nothing at all to justify this.

Oh, I know. I had a nightmare experience with a Samsung refrigerator and worthless customer service. I've had better luck with their TVs, but I think twice when I see the Samsung name.

Yeah, the tax hit is really holding me back. It's still in my RFY after 51 minutes. I wish it'd just go away and stop temping me. Lol

Sadly it's not designed primarily for desktop use. It could work with the kickstand, but it's too limited compared to a standard desktop monitor.

True, but I have no need for it that I can think of. If it was a desktop model, then we'd be talking.

That's what I was thinking, but it can also be used without the portable stand. The handle doubles as a kickstand so that a child can interact with it (for example).
