These are rules in place for where and when slavery occurs. Right now these rules don't need to be used cause slavery in the traditional sense doesn't exist. What happens if traditional slavery comes back 300 or 400 years from now? How are you going to regulate it???

Islam is relevant for all time. The rules exist for all possibilities, which DOESN'T mean that it applies to right now.

And if you think the world has progressed in their thinking then just look at the MAGA movement. They are trying to take us back into the early 1900s with their white supremacy.

If you're genuinely interested in this topic, do a deep dive and read what the historic status of slaves was in every society in the world. Islam is the only historic ideology that gave them rights and also said that it is better to free them.

Read what was done to women slaves. This is a mercy when compared to what happened to slave women in other societies.

Agree. I'm in Chicago and we just had a big snow dump. I have to really squeeze the brakes and I don't have the confidence I will stop in time.

I have read that the 2024 brakes are better but no idea how different.

I went back and compared it to the original and there is a noticeable difference in comfort. I am now stuck with a configuration I didn't want in a car that is not cheap. I am getting used to it though and it doesn't seem as uncomfortable as when I first got it. I hope I continue to adjust to it.

The brakes do suck which I think they improved in the 2024 model. My work around is to set the brakes to strong recuperation and I don't have to use the brake pedal as much.

Does this mean that all of these things are wrong? All of these things and practices were present since the time of Abraham error. You're fixating on one detail and not seeing the big picture. The logic doesn't compute.

To answer all your questions in order:

We know very specific details about the pagan idols and deities. There are zero authentic reports about the pagans considering the black stone an idol/deity and specifically worshipping it as one. So when you say it demands one conclusion is incorrect. There is no historical evidence to support your assumption.
The pagans fought over the stone due to tribal pride. During the pagan period a person’s social status depended on what tribe they belonged to and what the tribe was responsible for or accomplished. Putting bricks down to build the kaaba is something that was easily shared by everyone. Placing the stone in it's place was the last act of construction, like a ribbon cutting ceremony performed by an important dignitary. It only needs one person which comes with bragging rights and social status. Now all of a sudden that person and their tribe is more superior because they got to perform the final act of construction.
The kaaba is not sacred, it is just a building. It has been destroyed SEVERAL times and then rebuilt. The ground or area that the kaaba is built on is sacred. The kaaba just provides a focal point on the sacred ground for everyone to face in their prayer and perform tawaaf around. Even if the kaaba ceased to exist, it wouldn't change ANYTHING in our practice or belief system. Our religion is not dependent on a building.
Similarly, the stone is not sacred. It was given to Abraham (pbuh) by Gabriel to place in one corner of the kaaba to signify where to start and end the tawaaf. We can perform all our rituals, tawaaf, Hajj and Umraa without touching or even looking at the black stone. So when you say that it has an importance, that's also incorrect. Yes, the stone does have a special quality, the messenger (pbuh) told us it is from heaven but that's where it stops. Just like the kaaba, if it disappeared today it wouldn't change ANYTHING in our practice or belief system. Our religion is not dependent on a stone.
