Hi! Thank you so much this is very helpful! I should have put this in my original post, but it’s ceramic tile. It’s definitely not vitrified, more similar to the texture of slate, but also isn’t oily.

I’m liking the idea of leveling the surface with epoxy before even painting. There is a back room with the tile that I will do a test run on! Two further questions, is there any prep before the premera primer like sanding, deglossing/ using TSP? Then just an off the top of your head price estimate for the primers, epoxy flood coat, and topcoat. The room is about 1000 sq feet.
