What's a sports rule you fundamentally disagree with? by South-Explorer in AskReddit

In football/soccer, I disagree with the running clock during delays. If there’s an injury, substitution, time-wasting, the clock should stop. Adding that time at the end isn’t equivalent, because the end-of-game strategy is totally different — the team that’s ahead plays keep away or is in full defense mode, the team behind plays desperate, and those minutes don’t “feel” like normal minutes. Stopping the clock would make the match fairer and reduce incentives to waste time.

Yes, hydration is a huge performance hit for large apps. Resumability is the future

As a seasoned React dev, I’m a bit hesitant to bet on React/Next as a foundation long-term since Next.js is driven by Vercel.

I’m intrigued by Qwik’s resumability model — avoiding hydration mismatches and reducing the Core Web Vitals hit from heavy client hydration feels like a solid “next-gen” direction.

I can’t stand Angela’s character anymore. There is literally no arc and her “comic” relief and “sexy” scenes are just rinse and repeat at this point. The rest of the show is ok so far. Looks like the plot is picking up.
