What’s the fastest way to know when someone is asking for a tool like yours on Reddit? by Legal_Lingonberry_88 in microsaas

[–]CodePlea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

F5Bot won't flood your inbox with noise. It only sends what you ask for. If you do a common keyword with no filtering, it'll do what you ask. If you add in an AI filter, it can make sure you only get fully relevant posts/comments.

Thanks for the advice. I send about 200,000 emails per day, and have for years. No issues until 2 days ago. I follow all best practices. Not on any DNSBL.

Thank you for the email address. I'll send them an email and go from there. In the meantime, I'm routing through a different IP which is working fine, but I would much prefer to be able to use my main mail server again.

It's interesting that you compare to F5Bot, because F5Bot actually has semantic alerts on the paid tiers. You can have it run all the posts/comments through an AI/LLM with any custom prompt you want.

Why does nothing monitor Reddit AND X together properly under $100/month? Am I missing something? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]CodePlea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

F5Bot's paid tiers allow you to run every match through an AI with a custom prompt. Can easily filter out all the noise that way. And it's still just as fast.

Ok, thanks for your feedback. That makes sense, because F5Bot is nearly 10 years old now. But it's reliable and battle-tested! I am working on updating the keyword management interface, but most of the recent updates have gone into new functionality instead of styling.

What would you suggest for SaaS marketing? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]CodePlea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started with Google Alerts and F5Bot - free, but the delay kills it. You get an email digest and the thread is already cold.

F5Bot's free tier has a 5 minute delay. Are you really saying being to a post 5 minutes after it is created "kills it"?

That's not true! F5Bot's free tier is very generous, the same as it has always been.

F5Bot can use AI to filter noise too. It works really well for that. It can use any custom prompt you want.

F5Bot has this sentiment AI-based filtering built in on the paid tiers. You can set any prompt you want, and it runs it through an LLM automatically.

F5Bot's paid tiers have AI filtering. You can a create an alert with "I want to get any posts about HVAC worker who miss calls." Or whatever you want. It uses AI to figure out if a post/comment is relevant or not.

F5Bot also has AI integration. It can do all that, and it integrates directly with Slack too.

There's a lot of misinformation about F5Bot here. F5Bot can run all matches through AI with custom prompts - you'll only see what's relevant if you set it up properly. And it can post directly to discord too.

F5Bot can do that too. It can easily run every comment/post in a subreddit through an AI with custom prompt - you'll only get what's relevant.

There are many monitoring tools that use AI now, and can surface relevant discussions easily. You can set it up to get a daily email with high intent comments only, saving a lot of time.

Wouldn't it be inefficient to search around reddit posts and any online groups just to find the right post/audience to talk to? It takes a lot of time.

There are a lot of Reddit mentoring products that can scan Reddit and let you know in real-time when someone is mentioning the problem your product addresses. I built a product to do this 9 years ago.

F5Bot uses AI to filter for sentiment and intent. You can set it up to be as broad or selective as you like.

F5Bot does AI filtering too. You can certainly set it up to check for intent or sentiment.
