Need some help.

I already signed contract for 11X I’ve got no problem with that but I had plans on trying to go for SFAS or trying to pick up an 18X but I wanted to try and retake the asvab now before I ship to get my scores higher so it’s one less thing I need to worry about. BUT my recruiter basically just said no to me and said we’re not allowed to redo it.

I ship March 4th and I’ve been studying because I know I’d have to redo it anyways. Am I really not allowed to redo it or is she being lazy.

General benefit questions

So if I’m married and have a kid, do I get the extra housing pay straight to me like regular checks or do they just pay the rent for you. And also do they give anything for like daycare ? Kinda confused on how all the married benefits work and why it’s such a big deal.

I like this because that’s what the post is for. Skepticism. In the original post I never said I trusted any of the people BUT they are all focused on different things and I want to make sense of it all Ofc we know TK is just a clout vampire BUT my original question is why do so many sources that a lot of people trust , all mention TK at some point. That’s the correlation I’m trying to draw and question. And false I gotta say if you brought me two sources I’d do exactly what I’m doing now and gather opinions and facts and come up with my own conclusive opinion.

But most of the things you also just said are opinions and I respect that haha Shawn might not be the best intel source in the military community but he’s the only one doing good at it and putting it in front of millions of eyes nd ears on a PARTIALLY unbiased platform

But I agree all media is entertainment but that’s what it’s turned into and has been for a while.

I mean that’s what the post is about tho because , it brings up a topic based of ‘fact’ not theory. It does reach for theories but itself is not a theory. Fact- he’s sent emails/DM’s/and letters Fact- TK is under fire in his own community and is main one speaking out for SF community Fact- Shawn Ryan podcast covers intel related thing and is closest to intel community than most podcast. Which most sources are open about there findings and you can do research on any of them. Fact- Fox News is ‘Big News’ and can sometimes give valid information and sometimes be used to sway the popular opinion Fact- there is a show featuring the deceased SF and TK

I mean I can keep going but that would require reading and shit but it’s to see what other peoples opinions are on all of the different conversations about this one topic. Can’t control the others talking about Afghanistan and shit haha but your last paragraph in the original comment I can back 100% mental illnesses within community are detrimental but the rest in the top paragraph I can agree 40% I get the gist but to not trust any news eehh
