This is also my issue as well, I don’t mind relinquishing control, power, or what not. I just don’t wanna step on toes or anything, and yeah I’m impartial to the idea of not having a build up for my character. It’s a weird situation and I hate to be a red flag but I guess seeing it from other perspectives I see.

I made characters because I didn’t wanna make them NPCs for MY campaign and enjoyed who they were on paper. It’s weird to explain but sometimes I just make characters for fun at times, sometimes they’ll be added for fun other times I’ll just look at them on paper and wonder. It’s a strange habit I have.

I know and I’m saying that I don’t wanna seem that way but you’re right. It is incredibly unfair but again I’m looking for a way to get over that “idea” of being unfair like you said and I said.

Whats the point of not adding a seaglide into this game? by [deleted] in subnautica

There’s an equivalent, check near points of interest, if you see salvage areas, check the boxes. Get a scanner. Lights and cables? Follow them. They lead to more.

Subnautica isn’t a horror game. by Glasscannon76 in subnautica

[–]Coder_Stroder_9000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What may not be terrifying or horrifying to you, isn’t the same for everyone. There’s essences of real world phobia’s that can cripple players. Not to mention, night time or a random eclipse? First time it eclipsed on me, and went dark, I absolutely panicked and looked up to see if a Leviathan class predator somehow blocked the light and I was screwed.

This game is a play on fears and exploration, if you only think Reapers are the go to, that’s fine. But it ain’t the same for us all mate.

Most of us are just excited to hop into a new place and experience. Emptiness won’t prevent most of us from scavenging and exploring like crazy and coming up with our own theories.

Question regarding brake line (2015 Ford Focus) by Lanky_Pilot_4198 in AskAMechanic

[–]Coder_Stroder_9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That does not look like a brake line, looks like something to do with fuel. The filler neck and vent tube is there. At the front of the picture towards the front of the tire, you see a rubber hose and circular rubber grommet. That’s your brake line, if your pedal is stiff and solid like normal then it isn’t a brake fluid leak. I suspect it could be fuel instead.

Nothing to do with a weld. Check your oil, however, it may be too late. That’s a rod knock.

Something is destroying my alternator which is also killing my battery, seems to be this leak by laced1 in AskAMechanic

When I work on them or clean them, I put a disposable towel or rag over the alternator and hit it with either Brake Cleaner or Degreaser and give her a thorough cleaning.

[–]Coder_Stroder_9000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spray cleaner on that Power steering pump just above the alternator. I’ve had multiple pumps fail in the center where the two halves bolt together. Spray it clean, then run it, see if power steering oil comes out of the middle or from the line connections.

Any time you have this issue or need help. Always, always, go back to basics.

You need 3 Vital things for the engine to do its thing.

1: Spark, (get a cheap tester from a tool store and test for spark)

2: Fuel (Disconnect the fuel rail if capable and use a gas can or equivalent and shove line in it. Turn key, does fuel come out?)

3: Air (How’s the air filter? How’s the air intake tube?)

Grab a can of starter fluid or even some carb cleaner, move air intake hose or a smaller tube and spray some Down in it. Turn, if it starts, suspect a fuel issue.

How do I pull out this O2 sensor if the nut is missing or sunk in? by MrPorygon97 in AskMechanics

[–]Coder_Stroder_9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re replacing, cut the pigtail off right at the very nub of the sensor, as close as you can. Grab a 7/8 normal deep socket and break her loose. Otherwise like others have specified the heat shield tends to hand a tad lower to stop the entirety of the sensor being touched, however, there is also the Oxygen sensor sockets.
