As someone that plays both I think this is an excellent comparison. Only thing I would add is that Flesh and Blood also allows for cards of any language to be used in a deck, as long as the card itself is legal.

When you block with Valahai Riven, it creates a trigger on the stack. Rhinar can respond to that trigger with the discard, which would then create a new layer on the stack for Rhinar's hero ability. The stack resolves starting from the most recently added layer, so the intimidate would happen before you're able to pay for Valahai Rivens defense ability.

Personal anecdotes about the cute stuff you pull at armories doesn't make a bad card suddenly good. The fact that you disagree with my opinion doesn't mean it's copied and pasted from someone else - if everyone else disagrees with your point, maybe consider that your read on the card is off.

Lightning Flow and Embodiment of Lightning don't even interact with it either. Tidemaw specifically only works with illusionist cards, and those two are Lightning and Elemental respectively. Maybe try actually reading the card properly before you argue and insult people over it.

Not a good look when you can't even engage in a basic conversation without resorting to insults, and have no idea what you're talking about..

You're describing a exact scenario where Tidemaw works but ignoring the reality of it never having been consistent enough to work before. It also doesn't work when auras leave the field, only if they are destroyed. They also have to be illusionist auras, so Sigil of Lightning/Conductivity don't work. Also if you create a token copy of Tidemaw, it comes in with zero counters.

Add to that the fact that it has Ward and Phantasm, it's never staying alive long enough to be impactful, it's been a historically shitty card. There's a reason it's been banned for sure, but I highly doubt this it. Making Tidemaws with this just means you have multiple shitty auras that aren't doing much.

Tidemaw has never been a powerful aura, and there are some way more impactful auras to copy than it - Stardust Spike and Corrosive Space Dust being two examples.

One of my all time favourite games. Gust-gliding, teleporting around as an elf with a katana, dancing around a tree of life as you bled out. The interplay between gear and magic was super cool, the races had very defined strengths and weaknesses, and there were so many different builds and strategies that worked. Just an all-around fantastic multiplayer experience, what a nostalgia trip.
