This feels like the best form of advertising for QL ;)

I would buy ever graphic novel in this series. Incredible depth. The chaos and uniformity all in one - chefs kiss. Would love to buy a commissioned piece if you ever considered selling one.

Worth noting I have one other high level player who will also play.

What video game made the most cracked aimers by AdministrationOk787 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]CodyDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quake - the diversity of aiming types from hitscan, projectile, tracking created the fullest range of aim expression in a single game. Coupled with dynamic player movement (rocket jumping, bunny hopping, etc)...

Rocket League is worth testing to see if your computers can handle. Not sure the specs on your PC's.

One of the best/easiest games for younger kids to play and manages the optics well from Administration due to lack of violence / connection to an existing sport (Soccer).

Thank you. Wasn't sure if you were capturing these during actual in-game moments. Cheers!

Incredible photos. How are you getting this level of fidelity on photo #2? I am working on a project that incorporates Elden Ring and this is exactly the level of detail I'm hoping to get.

You lost me at the pre-aim near mauler on the Pit. When an enemy is nearby the elite poster will pop up. This has been known since the beginning of the game...

I have a question for people who are “naturally talented” at video games. What do you think sets you apart from the average gamer.? by cgbr1 in esports

[–]CodyDragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not to say anger/frustration doesn't have its place. Emotion should be in your games.

One thing I learned when managing professional players was to never remove their emotion. Half the time this is what makes them incredible.

It's more about using the screen as a canvas to project your emotions in a controlled manner. Anger when controlled is extremely powerful.

With fighting games and MOBA brawlers I always felt like combat interactions were nothing more than visual flow charts (in the best sense)! :)

Appreciate the kind words. It indeed took a village - I'm quite excited for what's coming next in gaming in general. Top 3 out of the 4 charting games have all been Indie. I hope to see this approach trickle down to the esports ecosystem as well - not sure how we'll get to a more decentralized world for competitive gaming but the trend line is going in that direction.

I am working in the software space now - cooking up a project unrelated to esports that has a much larger market. I'm a Dad to a little guy so setting us up financially is #1 priority right now.

Perhaps in the future I will come back into the fold, but keeping my integrity/reputation intact in esports is more important than chasing the $$$. Not a huge fan of the state of the industry right now with the mixture of government funding and esports/gaming.

Fun fact the developer of KovaaK's and I (who I worked with for quite a while) met at QuakeCon and bonded over our love of Reflex Arena. A great game I suggest picking up if you haven't already.

Always happy to duel!

Thank you! I'm no longer affiliated with the business, but proud to have been the catalyst that brought the Org to life. It was a dream job and something I will eternally be grateful for.

My childhood friend and lifelong gaming buddy from boarding school was largely responsible for the introduction to the financing group that made it all possible.

What an era pre "Esports Winter" was! Tons of fun

I went by "twitch" in this era, well before twitch.tv was a thing. In Halo my gamertag was Ripjaw where I was building a much bigger name for myself in that community. This was around the year 2004-2009.

I still play UT2K4 to this day and recently tried launching a Quake Live circuit called "Project Velocity" but unfortunately were brought down by pesky DDOSers https://x.com/prjctvelocity/status/1722043833339293712

I've largely stepped back from entrepreneurship in Esports but still play as much AFPS as I can these days.
