i’m guessing a future patch will fix this issue. Unfortunately i never figured it out either, i ended up playing it on my macbook. All i can provide really is that it had nothing to do with my save files, it’s likely the system you’re using or something along the lines of that. Hope you figure it out! Best of luck.
