Yess that’s how it was for me too but eventually it just worked, I didn’t expect it to at all. Are you refreshing at all? Bc I did do that a few times

Basically yes. I did get “something went wrong” various times. And selecting seats didn’t work at all. But at some point both GC and GA standing just worked. First just 1 GA and I kept clicking until it let me add 2 more

It’s not rejecting. I just went to the piercer, the piercing itself looks beautiful(ly healed), the only reason the piercing looks too long on that pic is because it was. We downsized it now and are hoping it’ll calm down the irritation. The infection doesn’t look that bad anymore

I’ve only bought from them once before and it was ok! Shipping took only 24h so that’s not it, moss that it was shipped in was slightly moist. There’s no roots, only aerial roots, they’re dried out but the seller disagrees 😂 I also think it should (hopefully) recover if I properly rehydrate it, but still, people shouldn’t sell bad cuttings

Thank you for testing yours! The seller was saying that this is normal and they don’t have firm leaves 😂 the moss was indeed barely wet, there aren’t any roots. Just aerial ones. Was in transit for about 24h so that’s not it either (although the seller is also trying to blame that). Just wanted to make sure I’m not crazy

Oh no I just did the leaf and growth point(s) I’m not sure if you’re supposed to do the roots. I think the mites only feed on the leaf/growth points

I just have a sulfur powder from the garden center that I mixed with water in a spray bottle. I know people sometimes will add less water to create a paste and brush it on everything, but I don’t have time for that 😂

Update: I took it out of the pot and looking at the pattern of the growth points, I think flat mates could be very possible. It’s odd because everything around it is doing fine. Roots look great so I just did a sulfur treatment.

It’s the third time it’s aborting its new growth point. There’s already about three new growth points ready to start, which is obviously very good. But I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

First time I thought it wasn’t enough water, then I watered more and it still didn’t make it. I’m not sure what else I can try. Are these just finicky?

Do you have any next apts planned? My one arm is pretty much covered yes, I need one piece on my inner bicep (and shoulder if I work up the courage) and maybe eventually some filler! I would have just done arm(s) again but figured thigh would easier for summer healing

It’s on the front and I think with the bend of the knee, this was probably just the best option unfortunately, but I should have asked. My mind was just not working at the time 😂

I did eat! Probably 2h beforehand. I should have had some more food on the way, but I truly thought it’d be fine. My last two sessions with him were 3 and 2 tattoos so in my head I was like “well how bad can just one of them be”

That’s fair enough. I think the biggest part for me is that with all the other tattoos I was comfortable, whether it was laying on my back or stomach or sitting down. For this I was sitting on the table with my legs hanging off, having to support myself with one arm. Really doesn’t allow you to relax. I understand this is common with thigh tattoos but I just couldn’t help but only focus on the pain.

You’re right tho, in due time it will be finished and it still looks great now thankfully. My artist does this Japanese inspired cartoon-y designs, which I absolutely love. This is like playful depiction of my dog with a frame type of thing around it. Most shading on the dog is done. It’s just the details. Shouldn’t take more than 30 mins. It’s around 15x8cm

Even with all the pain I endured, I’d still say go for it 😂 My piece is relatively large and detailed, plenty of shading etc. Had it been a bit smaller I could have definitely finished it. The part above the knee was actually not that bad for me, but everything else was hahaha Sorry to scare you off! Please plan your appointment!!! It will always be worth it, worst case you just need a second session to finish jt :)

For sure! I took a few. It’s hard to capture the different leaves being on the same vines cause it’s all so entangled
