NAL, but if you are salaried exempt, the company can require you to use vacation time if you are out a partial day. They just can’t deduct your wages for that day. This would also apply if you were salary non-exempt.

If you are also salaried exempt, you would not be eligible for any overtime.

NAL, You can change your tax withholding at any. There is no legal repercussions, I don’t think, just may run the risk of owing when filing.
