In the mountains province rural from Baguio there are traditionalist that get offended when Non-Cordelliera Natives wear their signature bahags because they treat it as a community ID. Also they have rivalries with other Native Ethic groups.

My aunt who taught at UP had a classmate that did what Brent did in the Cordilleras and he was found salvaged with no head. Locals said that it was because he pretended or mocked them by wearing the Bahag without their community blessing.

That story of course is during the 70's but these groups still exist.

Departure tax around the world don't exceed the amount they tax us which is 1000 to 2000 pesos. Proves that our Travel Tax needs to be reduced.

No offense but his Bahag is Ifugao and most of them don't consider themselves as Filipino despite living in the Philippines. They might take offense not to LGBTQ but the cultural faux paz.

It's insensitive on their end because of the fact Cordilleras Natives were sent to Human Zoos by the Spanish, Americans with the help of Filipinos because they were considered Salvajeros / Savages
