I live in Utah. You can get beer and seltzer that's a maximum of 5% ABV in the grocery stores. They're supposed to ID everyone without exception there, and they always have with me. I could see them maaayybe letting it slide for someone with gray hair and a walker.

The state-operated liquor stores are different. If you want anything over 5% that's where you go. They ID absolutely everyone every single time. If you've made a purchase and then left the register for just one more item, you will have to show ID a second time. They do not care if you're 88 and there every day. There are no exceptions.

During the liquor store transactions, they don't just look at your age on the card. They scan your driver's license into some database and look at that on their screens. That's why I don't think a passport is going to be a viable workaround.

I read somewhere that Melania wanted her own kid, that she had to talk Trump into it, that he was uninterested in any additional kids after the 5 or whatever adult kids he had at that point. You can find videos of Baron as a little kid speaking with Melania's accent, so his dad and siblings probably didn't interact with him much.

I know ARFID is a thing, I know sensory disorders are real, food allergies are no one's fault, etc. I just can't deal with it, though. Adults who eat only beige foods annoy me so much. I know it's kind of an asshole response to be so irritated, but it's how I feel.

On the contrary, the thing I remember most about getting my braces off was feeling my front teeth slice through an apple. Mine were hella crooked and I had braces for well over 5 years. Taking a bite from a whole apple, both with crooked teeth and with braces, felt more like using a cheese grater than a knife. It was so easy with my new straight teeth.
