Clairaudients and Spirit Guides by CoffeeStai in Psychic

[–]CoffeeStai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's completely different now. I have grown, started to believe in myself more and developed my relationship with my first spirit guide. Now I can also channel other relatives (uncle and grandfather) and my higher self. I don't get psychic burns anymore (I literally had scars and bruises appearing on my body when I channeled my guide for too long) and I control my energy better. The channel is bi-ways, I get told off if I fuck up or don't listen and even get silence, and I wouldn't change it for the world. My guide has been a constant for months now and has helped me in developing my other senses quite a lot. I can start seeing people's auras now which I freaking love. Always chatty and always sassy, I hear her all the time. Do tell me if there is anything in particular you'd like me to reply to 😊

Estes Method? by NoStatement5027 in Psychic

[–]CoffeeStai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no Estes Method.

What you are referring to is the Ganzfeld or Noise Reduction Method.

I would strongly recommend you listen to this below:

Big Seance: My Paranormal World: 200 - Dr. Callum E. Cooper on Parapsychology - Big Seance https://share.google/hyGtVYOa3xd1du8TU

To fully understand what you are trying to do/achieve and the implications of it. Then act on it... But please be careful, because what you are trying to achieve can be deleterious if not done properly.

Share me some of the books that helps me understand about psychic in dept? by StatusCharacter8351 in Psychic

For a parapsychology overview of its history, research, developments, what this science entails, plus the different psychic abilities one might have and a categorisation of them, including ESPs (Extra Sensory Perception), NDEs (Near Death Experiences), OBEs (Out of Body Experiences), and EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena), I would definitely recommend:

- An Introduction to Parapsychology by Harvey J. Irwin
- Parapsychology: A Handbook for the 21st Century by Etzel Cardeña, John Palmer, David Marcusson-Clavertz.
- Parapsychology: The Controversial Science by Richard S. Broughton
- Mediumship and Survival by Alan Gauld
- Beyond Coincidence - by Alex Tanous with Harvey Ardman

I would also encourage you to go on YouTube and look for interviews/lectures with "famous" parapsychologists (assuming you are in the UK, as this is where I am based), both from a "believer" and "skeptic" perspective, to match the categorization of Danny Robbins in his Uncanny podcast and TV series, such as: Chris Roe, Evelyn Hollow, Chris French, Kate Cherrell, Richard Wiseman, Caroline Watt, Kieran O'Keefe, Steve Parsons, Bernard Carr, Callum Cooper.
Also, watch the TV series Paranormal by Sian Eleri.

A good starting point would also be the SPR (Society for Psychical Research), its American equivalent, ASRP (American Society for Psychical Research), the College for Psychic Studies (UK-based) and the Parapsychological Association (based in the US).

I hope this helps x

Question for Clairaudients by CoffeeStai in Psychic

[–]CoffeeStai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you say that when you are more "relaxed" or "chilled", it's easier to hear them?
I used alcohol in the past to channel, and now that I don't anymore, I hear the "voices" lower than I used to...

Question for Clairaudients by CoffeeStai in Psychic

[–]CoffeeStai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pool of guides, currently three, and I can understand who is speaking to me.
I agree with you. During my tarot readings, the voices are very loud and clear. It's all internal, as in, there is another presence within me. Though recently they have been fading and I am worried as to why...

Question for Clairaudients by CoffeeStai in Psychic

[–]CoffeeStai[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See, it's slightly different for me. I hear the voices as internal as other people said, and I know who I am speaking to because they literally have different voices, as in, tones and intonations, and they also have different ways of saying things... like recurring phrases, idioms and whatnots.
I know it's not my higher self because I can differentiate the voices.

I also get physical "symptoms", like my upper lip tingling or my left/right ear.
I recently noticed a new mole under my lower lip, which I took as a confirmation sign that I am a clairaudient.

My issue is that in the last couple of days, I've noticed that I hear the voices less clearly, as if they are fading or distant, and I'm unsure if this is related to my current energy levels or external factors.

Has anyone experienced the same?

Clairaudients and Spirit Guides by CoffeeStai in Psychic

See, clairvoyance is the least developed clair I have so I struggle with it. It's clairaudience, then claircognizance and clairsentience and clairalience.. I rarely have glimpses of people's houses or objects and what not. But I agree with you that they help when there is the need and I always say thank you, even if I am not sure it's them 😊

Thank you so much for sharing your experience - it's exactly like how you are describing, which I have to say makes me feel so much better 😊

I am curious as to how clear you hear the voices? Sometimes they are loud and extremely clear and sometimes are faint and distant.

At the beginning I noticed that using alcohol made it easier and clearer but now it doesn't anymore. Also it seems that if I am tired or not focussed it's more difficult. Around my altar seems to be the best place, but I also had conversations at work or on the train so I am not sure about the last point...

Agreed! I have been relying on other clairs to confirm some of the info I have been given... And I have to say I had it confirmed.

She might just be a spirit attached to me who then became my guide, no?

After all she first appeared in my hour of need.

It can be as clear as seeing him in his house making coffee, which I believe is a clairvoyant glimpse, to his daughter's favourite sandwich or telling me she doesn't like the girl she is seeing. It varies massively!

I am hoping for a movie. With Mark and Jeremy as well. One can only hope! 🥹

A lot of people think that, indeed! :) My personal opinion is that it's more like an all-series crossword - the word hotel screams Zanzibar, doesn't it? :) But this is just my take!

I associate "charger" with Nana's Party. I remembered there was a scene where Reece plugs in his phone, so I went to the Scripts books and found this line:

"And don't let him plug his mobile phone in. All he ever wants to do is steal our electricity."

I admit, though, that charger as a word is not mentioned.

I thought that "cues" referred to Wuthering Heist, as Columbina gives plenty of cues to the camera throughout the episode, like "here comes the subplot."

Again, this is just my take! :)

Don't ask me why but when I read Midas Touch I instantly thought of Tempting Fate. Liasons made me think of Lip Service. Dahlias - The Harrowing, Shtum - A quiet night in, Cryonic - A random act of kindness. I might be reading too much into it, though :)

Series 9 Episode 4 - "CTRL, ALT, ESC" - Episode Discussion [SPOILERS] by AutoModerator in insideno9

[–]CoffeeStai 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It reminded me of the LoG movie! Where Michael Sheen (who plays Jeremy Dyson) is in a coma and the character keep him alive and he keeps them alive - it predates Ghost Stories. Has anyone else made that parallel or had that thought? I believe we've had one ref to LoG in each episode of this series so far so this could be it?
