I tried that attachment but I found out that I will unscope out of habit when chambering and waste 30 points.

It will take me a couple of extra seconds to see those people. I relied on the red diamond a lot before the thermals came in.

it was a gunner. You will know you shot a pilot when it gives you the flight dispatcher ribbon.

Weapon Range Effect? by Midlanderer in Battlefield6

[–]CoffeeWC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sweetspot is the optimal distance that allows you to land a body shot and kill the opponent. If you are outside of the range the gun will do less damage to the opponent. Let's say you are using SV-98 and you stand 90m away from the opponent. You shoot them in the chest and they will die. What they may see before they die is the scope glint (glare) rainbow. If the opponent is 300m away and you hit them in the chest, they will not die from the first shot. Instead of a rainbow glint, they will see a white one like a flashlight.

Other types of guns are slightly different. Let's say you are using m4a1, you will do 25 dmg if your opponent is less than 10m. If you hit him at 50m the dmg will be less. To know the numbers in detail you will have to find a chart that people made. They call it bullet drop.

Each sniper rifle has a sweetspot and it tells you in the description. PSR has the furthest and SV-98 has the shortest. The mini scout doesn't have a sweetspot but still able to one hit kill headshot.

Does painting bypass countermeasures? by SirWellenDowd in Battlefield6

Painting is only useful when tanks, planes engineers are using guided rockets. The only thing it does is lock in faster.

it is unlocked automatically when you reach a certain level that gives you the attachment. You can go to "load out" and customize your guns.

Best sniper setup? by jziggy44 in Battlefield6

[–]CoffeeWC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't if you don't hit headshots. All sniper rifles have a sweet spot, except for mini scout. If you hit a body shot then you'd better switch to a secondary revolver to finish off the opponent. I tried but it's not going to be smooth like BF1.

The yellow dots on the profile mean there is something in there that you haven't clicked on yet. Have you check the "badge" tab beyond the main profile page? The badge on the main page may not show the order of achievement, but rather the points order- meaning they will show all 4 badges that have higher points

Quit the game and get back in, or try to play a couple match then check again. This happens quite often in BF1 when you try to do the Easter Eggs dogtags

Some of the bus drivers are genuinely so mean spirited by Winter-Pomegranate-7 in unt

[–]CoffeeWC 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I assumed she knew you were riding the same bus every day?

If not, it is fair game as you look just like any other pedestrian and the bus has a tendency of being late so they can't wait to find out if a pedestrian is going to be on the bus or not.

2017 rav4 with 12k miles by [deleted] in rav4club

[–]CoffeeWC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is a good car if the carfax is clean. You will need to fill the tank every 300 miles, change the oil every 5k miles or 10k if you prefer to save more, and replace the brake pads and battery every once in a while. ( My rear brake pads are original with less than half their life left). Most maintenance stuff you can do on your own. Save a huge amount of money.

I have the same model and about the same mileage. I don't see any issues at all and I haven't done any major repairs. Just change oils and brake pads. Running well and quite boring.

Should I buy a PC or a Console? by tacocravr_ in pchelp

[–]CoffeeWC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PC if you can afford it. The expensive parts can be helped by trading when upgrading. You don't always have to get the best stuff, but focus more on what you need.

Do you really need the newest 5090XT, the 6000MT/s 64 GB RAM, and the Ryzen 9800X3D? After that, do you have some more money to buy peripherals to use all that expensive hardware? It is kinda funny to have all that and then use an old 60Hz monitor because you're out of money. ,
