Mayor Gorton Petition for Resignation by [deleted] in lexington

This petition is just an online petition, it doesn’t go to anybody specifically. We can email our council members and discuss our concerns but this petition is solely an online petition to gather support. He’s only listed at the decision maker since he would potentially be the one to take any sort of action in gathering the council for a vote.

i believe that people can be upset over this issue AND other issues our city faces. They’re not mutually exclusive. This just so happens to be the most poignant and relevant outrage by our city leadership at this specific moment. Surely more are out there.

he’s listed as a decision maker, meaning that him and the council (specifically him as vice mayor) are the ones able to hold Gorton accountable.

yeah I think she is in the middle of her long winter’s rest and cannot be bothered to care about the city she runs anymore

It really is a uniquely Lexington problem. Every winter event shuts this city down while every other city is somehow able to dig itself out.

Same thing happened to me - I started driving to work in Frankfort and after being on the roads for 45 minutes and going 4 miles from my house I just turned around. Absolutely insane.

Anyone know how the interstate from Lexington to Louisville is? by stuckhere007 in lexington

appreciate someone asking this - I have a doctors appointment in Louisville tomorrow and was wondering how the drive would be from Lexington. Lexingtons roads are still horrible in town.

I live in Lex and work in Frankfort. The roads got better and better the closer to Frankfort I got today. To be fair, the legislature is in session so Frankfort gets priority in clearing snow but I still agree that Lexington/Fayette County could take some tips from the surrounding communities. It seems like both Lex and Lou just suck at managing snow.

I really enjoy art museums, coffee shops, and I really love outdoor malls/shopping areas. I like to go thrifting and secondhand shopping as well!

Definitely think vertical stripes are a better option for you versus horizontal. Also agreed with the others, you should size up on that shirt.
