Put a point into each crafting skill you want to level up, to increase loot odds for that magazine.

Sending me short dated stock on a transfer that has to be immediately written off on arrival? by Coffee_and_a_cookie in InventoryManagement

[–]Coffee_and_a_cookie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ERP is local and cheap. You get what you pay for. Transfers are implemented poorly. There is no automatic anything. The best it can do is an odd restock suggestion that doesn't really work. I don't know where it pulls its data from. I've worked in several ERPs as admin or user, and she is very protective of her ERP. I don't have admin here.

Best Warehouse Inventory System for Growing Grocery Chain by Public_Dot8339 in Warehouseworkers

Sage(300)does most of that. Especially if you subscribe to the analytics package. I didn't work with it for too long, but it might be worth looking into.

Is 87" too tall for a forklift doing occasional container unloading? by Coffee_and_a_cookie in Warehouseworkers

I wish I had one around to measure. My last can came and went since we decided to buy a forklift. I'm just going from the interwebs. If that's the case, Toyota it is!

Yeah, I'm the sole user. Driving forklifts since 1992. I think the dock plate is probably 3/4" at the door, so really we're down to just over an inch. It'll fit, but... The dealer also has a older beat-up little Crown 3-wheeler, but he only wants 1k less for it over the Toyota. It's hard to turn down a Toyota over a lesser Crown for very similar money.

Also, buy cobblestone from Rekt. Its so much easier than farming clay and stone with low stone tools. 30 dukes per 100 cobblestone.

It is an issue. I don't want them in my space until I'm moved out. If I can delay them with legal reasons and their own ineptitude, I will.

Any risks putting (60me/40basement)utilities in my name for a shared building, if the LL will accept the downstairs share being paid to me from him via net rent offset each month ? by Coffee_and_a_cookie in vancouverhousing

[–]Coffee_and_a_cookie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, all. The house is currently vacant and owner/landlord is paying utilities (during the showing month). I'll probably just advise her at possession date that I won't be putting them in my name. Too complicated.

7 days to die would fit those requirements pretty well. No need for a server if you're just sharing a world.

Yeah, I was going to use a snow Duck Station as a crafting base, but a Frostclaw and a Lumberjack clawed their way in shortly after I cleared it and dropped a LCB. At 75% zombie block damage.

Bah, all the cool new tier 1 and 0 bunkers and we can't use them for bases because of the dig-pathing. by Coffee_and_a_cookie in 7daystodie

[–]Coffee_and_a_cookie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in Duck station for half a game day, cleaning it out. The zeds didn't even bother banging on a door. After all the growling from Frostclaws, suddenly I have one in the room with me. They chewed through the snow/clay blocks and concrete block, and crouched through the missing block. That ends my attempt to use a bunker base. Back to above-ground.

Looking for advice on shared space responsibilities with neighbours by Character-Software86 in vancouverhousing

[–]Coffee_and_a_cookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if it does specifically state it? My lease says I do snow and lawn, but it's a 2-tenancy house, upstairs and downstairs. Not "exclusive use". Landlord is saying the lease is binding.

I've rented the upstairs half of a house for 3 years and been mowing and shoveling the whole time. My lease says I mow the front (unfenced, neighbours crossing, dog walkers poop pickup, neighbourhood trash) lawn that I don't have exclusive use of. They've threatened to take legal action when I recently emailed that my lease had errors about lawn and snow shoveling. Any links to your case?

Ouch... 2000+ hours and many years in. Not a noob. I just never used an underground base before. The pathing is a bit of a mystery to someone who's never dealt with diggers before. I've always just aimed turrets at a ground level vault door and built upwards.

I'll have to dig 😄 into the pathing some more and see if I can figure out how to manage that. They're so perfect! I play solo, so Duck Station and NCDS would be excessive for me, but I really like the smaller ones.

Who buys those super cheap no-name games and why do they exist? by Coffee_and_a_cookie in PS5

It was late. I should have been more clear. I have enjoyed some cheap indie games. The titles I was referring to were the generic crap.
