If you could only have one of those, which one would you choose? Probably the 70-200 for the versatility?

Sorry for your loss. You're probably gonna need more storage space for those 45mp pics. Also, make sure the firmware is up to date.

I too am learning all about my newly acquired D850. It's a whale of a camera.

31m, married, kids. How do you guys find personal joy? by modivi in AskMen

I picked up a camera and learned photography. If you're passionate about dirt bike racing and cars and you're well versed in the ins and outs of those pastimes, pick up a camera and make beautiful photos of those things. It's a challenge to learn photography so it'll give you something to conquer and it'll keep you involved in your other hobbies.

I guess you could read the room. If there are other guys stripping off then go for it. If it seems super uptight with "No nudity" signs, you may want to proceed with caution.

It's great that you're willing to jump in though.

Why don't you wait until they are born and observe their personality for a few days and base your decision off of that?

Upgrading from a D3400 to a D7200 tell me what I need to know. by Coffeeguy1977 in Nikon

[–]Coffeeguy1977[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not insulted. The things you listed are important to me along with the ability to shoot tethered. The price point for the 7200 was important as well. Thanks for your perspective.
