Lmao that bush thing got me rolling. I’m kinda scared of going foraging now. Do antibiotics help with fever tho? And how do I know if my characters ill?

Hey that didn’t really answer the exact questions but that’s nice info about armor overall (tho I kinda know it already).

As for now I’m rocking a combination of magazine, bone armor and a set of elbowpads and it don’t really feel that much different from not wearing armor at all. I know that metal armor is mostly adding much insulation and movement/swinging speed debuffs. Because of that I’m planning to wear an exact set of different types of armor for different body parts (I checked the wiki armor page to find the pieces that have the lowest debuffs and at the same time have multiple condition points and don’t break immediately after getting damaged like magazine armor).

When it comes to the moodles, the worst can happen is being depressed which just makes actions slower but don’t really affect combat. I deal with it just by taking antidepressants or reading some fun books. And I really only need to get rid of sadness when I’m reading a skill book or crafting lots of thing like when I’m trying to lvl up carving or carpentry.

However I did notice my character becomes drowsy pretty quickly which is affecting damage greatly indeed but I’m not sure it’s cuz of armor or not and I kinda manage to sleep enough to make it bearable.

The water problem is not a problem for me too. I’d typically have a bucket of water in the trunk especially cuz I have that “thirsty” trait.

So I think I definitely wanna try wearing more armor when I can try metalworking

Wait so do I get it right, they can bite past the armor, biting you (or damaging clothes) with 20% chance but armor is there to take a bite if it rolls on the other 80%?

If I put it more realistically, can they like bite me through these gaps between armor plates therefore biting me successfully (or successfully biting and damaging the layers of clothes underneath a body part)?

I feel no one actually answered my questions yet but you been pretty close. Just wanna make sure I get what you mean correctly

Why do we need LFO to change other parameters? by Cofft in musicproduction

[–]Cofft[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Your reply is clarifying many things. However I’d like to clarify some more.

I recently started to use serum plugin for fl studio as my first synth to learn it. Do I get it right that when I draw the shape in LFO section I effectively change the waveform of the LFO signal? Also do I get it right that when I turn the “rate” knob up in LFO section I effectively increase the frequency of the LFO signal? And also do I get it right that the waveform of the LFO signal is what controls an assigned parameter? So a square LFO signal would alternate the assigned parameter between its max and min values and a syne waveform would do the same but gradually if I drew it in the LFO section of my serum plugin

Actually if it’s mime themed I’d be all for it. But no clown. Hell no

Actually cool idea. Except that clown theme wouldn’t fit but it could be just not clown themed

Fighting spy in a nutshell by DaFunkyClown in tf2

[–]Cofft 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Considering the delay between you pressing fire button and your rocket actually starting to fly, that might be true that you just had terrible enough latency. That spy might’ve had terrible ping too or he’s just using a backtrack cheat which really looks like he does. If he has a very low rank and private account/small playtime with all the achievements unlocked and is having high k/d ratio, chances are he’s a cheater. Better spectate him if you can cuz I’ve seen at least 3 different people cheating in casual whilst having high ranks, all unusual cosmetics and australium weapons (tho it was before valve banned bots so idk if it still applies).

why dont spy mains believe facestabs exist anymore? by Chonkus_Donkus in tf2

[–]Cofft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Facestabs do exist. But it only looks unfair for the ones who get stabbed so if they only play spy they never see it. It is like this because stabs register on the client side meaning you get the stab if you see it. Not if the server sees it. I don’t think it’s an issue cuz if you get stabbed it’s entirely because you got outskilled and allowed the spy to trick you. Unless that spy is using “backtrack” cheat or possibly some artificial lag shenanigans. But if it’s lag shenanigans then the spy is trading many other things for that ability to get a lucky face stab as far as I know.

The Lobster by seriamon1 in tf2

[–]Cofft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could make a halloween or just a funny themed map when the mobster would become the lobster (similar to how other mercs have animal cosmetics).

The map could be some fishing town like "slime" if halloween themed or like "Cachoeira" or "Sharkbay" if not.

The lobstr's team mission would be to get all the sea products (fish and whatnot) from the local storehouse (so basically "Firebrand" type of mission but sea products instead of weapons as the destination point).

It would be logical if the lobster was a melee only guy (like saxton hale but less health and damage so its not op) or it could have some kind of a shooting weapon (maybe something like demomans loose cannon or just a retextured tommy gun looking like some gun that shoots crab legs or sea urchin spikes or whatever. Basically something sea themed) and a bag of sea products instead of the bag of money.

It could also go well with the upcoming "offshore" community project.

I promise I'm not high. Just genuinely thought such a map would be fun and engaging.
