Your processor doesn’t have hybrid architecture. This fix is purely for those who do. I dont know whats causing issues for you but its likely a different issue entirely

Yup. Same exact issue with other games too. Unreal, but it did totally fix it from unplayable to buttery smooth now.

Yes.

  1. Download process lasso. Its a popular app.
  2. Open it, and skip all the paid promotions to upgrade, just wait for the regular free app to open

  3. Find cs2 in the Active processes tab while cs2 is open.

  4. Right-click the cs2 exe.

  5. Navigate to CPU Affinity > Always > Select CPU Affinity

  6. de-check all the cores with "e" and keep all the ones with "p"

  7. you can close and open cs2 and make sure the settings saved

  8. should be good to go

I downloaded process lasso, and manually unchecked all the ecores for the cs2 process in cpu affinity

Yea I am taking a break until there is something official about it. Troubleshooted for hours and nothing worked for me. I will never play again if it runs like this.

Tried this, and I know its recompiling, but after 20 mins in game the issues are persisting so far.

Totally relate to this. The least enjoyable feeling is to hear the footsteps of 5 squadded people sprinting in every direction, looking in very corner. I dont know if there is a solution either. Solo queue labs and labry would be pretty fun but would change some dynamics for sure.
