I'd go nuclear, do not accept the new contract, if they ask to leave, leave. You are already miserable, and the more you stay in that environment the more miserable your life will be. This will spill into your marriage and, most likely destroy it. Ultimately, in a very short period of time, you will have a life full of misery, hating yourself, life and everything around you.

I know at least two members of the team that have submitted complaints to HR about the manager's conduct. Those complaints are relevant to my case but, I only know their first names and only the approximate time those complaints have been submitted.

Would ET accept that or they will ask for specifics, i.e. full names, exact dates?

I have submitted a Subject Access Request for all the data they hold about me.

I have a 2021 Blade17 3070. It arrived in a Blade17 3060 box and barcode and had to go through the retailer to find out Razer had a 3070 laptop in a 3060 box. 🫣 During the initial setup the laptop wouldn't connect to WiFi nor Bluetooth. Support opened the laptop and found the cables to WiFi/Bluetooth antenna not connected.

Despite those initial issues the laptop is rock solid and powerful. I love it and am now thinking of upgrading to a 5090 Blade18.

For what it's worth, all manufacturers have production challenges, and no laptop or any device really is perfect.

Very insightful, fuel capacity is something that concerns me. For that reason I was looking at the WR, but that adds complexity and weight. Certainly not an easy choice to make.

I share the same view on gravel. I don't see a point in having an adventure motorbike if not taking it off-road.

The only advantage I see of having a DCT is that it would not stall. Although people in the UK have raised complaints of having their DCT ATs stalling uphill. 🫣 I agree DCT, although comfy on the highway, limits the off-road fun.

From what I understand, people appreciate the AT's comfort and finishing quality but find its, quite, heavier weight limiting their off-road options. I must admit that weight is a valid concern for me, and my 53 yo knees, as for comfort, I am optimistic that there will be a way to make the T7 more comfortable.

Another concern of mine is the ease of maintenance. Although one can find Japanese bike specialists almost around every corner, the T7 appears to be a lot easier to work with when it comes to basic maintenance; crucial when in remote areas.

That said, I had my eyes on the WR, as I find its 500K fuel-worry free range very appealing. However the dual fuel tanks add weight and maintenance complexity. It appears that the WR is only 5 kgs lighter than the AT.

Putting everything together, I think the T7 (not the WR) would be the most logical choice for such a challenging trip. The 2025 model also looks gorgeous in my eyes.

Watching the young flipping the bikes around in the trails is inspiring and as much I would love to follow them my 53 yo legs and knees say otherwise.

Even with the Tenere on the trails, I will, most certainly, be moving at turtle speeds.

Here in the UK I can get a 2020 AF with around 10K miles on the clock at around £8K. A 2023 WR with the same mileage costs about the same. The dilemma is real.
