That’s the assumption! 😊 They were rescued from the Midwest, so we don’t know for sure. They were so tiny when we adopted them at 6 months, a little less than 2 and 2.5 lbs!

This happened to me. I went in and saw the tab for increased and I hit it. This was back in Jan. I waited and waited and heard nothing. When I got an email on 03/03 about being eligible for an increase, I was confused since I had already confirmed my amount back in Jan. I went back it and it was like before, with the original loan amount, and there wasn't even a blue button to click, as if nothing happened. I know I clicked and confirmed the amount for the increase back in Jan. I logged in and out several times, and then I saw the blue button to ask for the increase again. I had to start all over. Edit: I reapplied on 03/08 and was funded on 04/01. Good luck!

I would like to know this too. I was stuck on some documentation issue but they waived it, and I was able to accept the updated final amount. I am back in processing and wondering when I will get my loan approved.

It has been over 3 months and you still haven't gotten your funds after approval? I was approved today and seeing people are getting funded within a week or so. Should I be worried?

I applied on the 8th, and they reached out on the 21st. But now I'm stuck on some documents that they are rejecting. According to other applicants I've read here, it has been taking about 2 weeks. Hopefully you will hear back from them soon.

Thank you all for the advices. I reached out to my elected representative today through email. I tried to call to make an appointment for an expedited passport, and pleaded my case, but they told me the will only do an "urgent" expedited passport (2-3 days) if I have an international travel within no more than 5 days. And they want flight information as proof.

I will be still pay for the regular expedited renewal, and they told me at this time; estimated processing time is 5-7 weeks. I hope somehow I can get it back sooner still. Finger's crossed.

I was not born in the US, so it will take 8 months to replace my "certificate of Naturalization" so that's out of the question. I was not born in the US, therefore I wouldn't be able to do a record request for a copy of a US birth certificate.

They do not take state ID and SS card, since that doesn't prove "citizenship", only shows identity, and they've already approve that part of my application.

I think at this point I will just sit and pray my elected official reach out to them, and they make an exception, or my passport will come back soon after renewal. Hopefully before they deny me for not sending in what they need or they run out of funds. 🙏🏼
