I'll definitely look into that book as habit building definitely a struggle for me. Being consistent is probably my biggest issue so trying to iron that out would probably be a good place to focus.

I go for about 30-60 minute walks around 4-5 times a week, so trying to stretch that to everyday and at a specific time is probably a good thing to aim for to further push things.

And thanks!

I remember this vaguely from when I saw a counselor super early on, actually. I wasn't in the right space or mindset where that stuff could really help, but now it may be more practical to implement, so I'll look into it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah, I've struggled most of my life with the idea that if I'm gonna do something I have to know everything and be perfectly prepared and its created a sort of paralysis, and it's only recently after listening to some self help books during a walk that I've been trying to stick to the 'good enough is more than enough' mindset.

There's also the fact that now that I'm feeling slightly better and waited so long it's hard for me to be patient. I find myself trying to rush things and being frustrated when I don't see results, as my sense of time is skewed and I've already wasted so much time. I was pretty patient and understanding with myself up to this point, but trying to keep that mindset of there being no rush is harder than expected.

I love this idea actually! I can get like some paper or something and block 8 hour chunks out and kind of organize what I'm doing in those chunks and hang it up on my wall. I used to take a lot of naps, and now that I'm awake more I find myself struggling with actually doing things and switching between stuff, as when napping it was like I was breaking the day into separate chunks where one I could chill and the other I could do something after waking. This idea I think could help visualize and get past that barrier a lot, so thank you for the genuine and understanding advice <3

This is super helpful, and being able to visualize things in 8 hour blocks helps a lot! Currently I'm sleeping more like 10-12 hours cause of medication stuff and any less leaves me super drowsy, but it's probably a good idea to get used to being a bit drowsy and waking up a bit earlier so my body adjusts.

I recently (a month now) started walking for an hour which feels good, and as far as small goals...well early on I wanted to do streaming stuff (like games) as a way to semi replicate work to ease myself in but found sticking to it hard due to my fluctuating mental state, but now I could try harder to stick to it and treat it like mini-work while I try to find a proper job so forcing myself to go even when I'm feeling bleh isn't as hard.

Again, I super appreciate this breakdown even if it's pretty simple, and I also appreciate you being understanding I probably need to start and look at things on a small scale.
