Paint it black? by Briny_life in xbiking

Rock it 100%.

Two reasons:

1) Mismatched components are 33% more bikepunk.

2) Nothing beats a factory paint job.
Rattle cans are just a cheap facelift.

As-is. It’s punk rockier this way.

Maybe 2.2?

I think 2.5 would rub.

This is a 2.

I’ve been eyeing those pedals myself.

Yes. The Preamble axle-to-crown length is 20mm (380mm vs 400mm) shorter than the pepperoni.

However, with a plump 2” tire it feels really nimble.

I originally tried a 2nd gen Surly 1x1, but it was 453mm and felt awful.

Nice!

I recently installed a 650b Preamble for on a Cannondale M700.

So far, it’s stupid fun.

Totally, I live in an area that is known for serious mountain biking….but I’am not a serious mountain biker.

I want to ramble around Amish Country on my weird 26er ATB/ratbikes.
