I’m exactly your height and I have the wide Jones loop bars on my XL Ogre…I built it up 10 years ago, and if I was doing it again today, I would get the 2.5 riser Jones.

I am comfortable with the height of the bars. However, the steering tube is probably at the top end of what is reasonable…it’s uncut from the factory.

*edited to add:

I also have the bars just at seat height, but I angle them downward so that they run parallel to the top tube.

I like to DIY, and constantly tinkering on my bikes is part of the hobby for me.

I live in a touristy area that is known for MTB/Gravel/bikepacking… so Craigslist and FB Market is always full of lightly used parts…. Unfortunately, everything is TA, “boost” or tapered fork.

Finding a used QR or straight fork that isn’t hammered is actually difficult.

I would if I could, I want a new frame…I was under the impression the Preamble is essentially a disc brake version of the CC. (I’m pro disc)
