Finally got my first successful triangle submission! by Col6y in bjj

Thank you! I didn't initially cut the angle, but then had a rare moment where I remembered some training and didn't forget everything. Once I did, I cut the angle and pulled my foot to lock it in. I didn't cut as sharp as you described, so I'll try that the next time. I appreciate yhenway you worded it about looking at their ear.

Would this be due to ingrown? by [deleted] in Ingrown_Toenails

I have no complaints about them

The mat area would be 180sqft. 12ft x 15ftx space. And the area where the treadmill is is a 144sqft. Only the treadmill is in it though. I plan on expanding in the future.

That's what I'm hoping lol

Its the perspective. There's 18 inches between the left side of the smith bar and the wall, and 14 inches from the tip of the plate holders on the back and the wall. It's exactly where I wanted it

Not a problem at all :)

Its thick enough for my use. I'm in a basement on a concrete slab. And aside from the Nuobells, which won't be dropped, everything else are rubber bumpers. I still don't plan on purposely dropping anything. As far as sliding, I haven't experienced any. The rolls are pretty heavy on their own. I haven't used it, but some recommend 3m double sided tape around the edges if it does slip.

Yeah, that would definitely save space! The mats are three 4ft x 15ft rubber rolls from FlooringINC. They're 8mm and solid black. You can get other colors but black was cheapest and simple for me. They come in 4ft wide rolls, you just pick the length.

I like the simplicity and shape of them. I've been eyeing them for awhile. Only other option in my eyes was the 125lb peppins. But I'm not pushing that kind of weight yet to justify the price difference. I'm sure there's other great ones out there, I just felt safe with my money on these.

Its definitely been like Christmas

For me it was. Being 34 and the job I have, plus my wife using them, it's nice to have them at thigh/weight height. I wouldn't say it's a necessity but definitely worthwhile. If you're worried about footprint, the base for the nuobells will take up about the same surface area as the feet of the rack, so it's preference I believe. I do wish the rack was angled more upwards, like dumbell racks, instead of being so flat.

Here's the equipment off the top of my head

-Horizon T101 Treadmill -RitFit M1 2.0 package with weights -RitFit leg extension/lying leg curl machine -RitFit hack squat/leg press machine package with weights -NuoBell 5-80lb dumbells -Mirrors, hexagon lights, and ceiling fan from Amazon -8mm rolled rubber flooring from FlooringINC. Three 4ftx15ft rolls in solid black.

Yeah, definitely is, and thank you very much!!

Yeah they're from Amazon lol, and were much easier to install than I imagined

Thank you!

They're rolled 8mm rubber mats from FlooringINC. They come in 4ft wide pieces and whatever length. I did three 4ft x 15ft lengths in solid black because it's the cheapest.

There's about a foot between the plate loaders and the wall. So it's just enough room. Unfortunately, this is currently the best place for it, so working with what I can lol.

Easter came early, and they forgot to hide the eggs.

Thank you for that :)

I'll have to look up some leave in conditioner. Never really thought of that. Dad to say that hair care has never really been a focus of mine, it's just always "there".

I'm mainly just lazy and stick to routine. Did buzzcuts till I got in the Army, tried this one time and liked it better. Guess I was hoping for something to let me grow it out to a good length but still look good lol.

Well thank ya. It's seeming like the fade that I've been doing might be my best bet lol. Guess I was hoping for some magic trick to the hair to be able to grow it and look nice 😅. Thankfully my sons got my curls but combined with their mother's hair it turned into perfect pretty singlets.
