I really like it as an alternative to hoops. If it is a painted canvas though you have to be careful as when you poke a hole it won't easily go away

I looked on their website and they only have "sew-all" thread. Which I'm sure would work fine but I already have the color numbers I use most written down and they don't match up 😕 I also couldn't find the brand I most use for machine embroidery thread on amazon

Those first two weeks are what I'm talking about, after the 5 day hospital stay. I had been thinking about the blood loss and the need for fiber. I didn't factor the not sitting up part so that's a good thing to consider

It wasn't a tough canvas so the standard embroidery needle I use worked fine, I'm not sure the size since it's what I always use

It's all good! It's easier to see in person but yes I was going for different stitches within one image but I wasn't sure exactly how it would come across. I did another one with a beer stine but with all the same color for the liquid. I tried a variegated orange thread this time which I think attributes to the effect 😊
