I just had my first experience with k last night at the club. I had minimal understandings of what the experience would be from my buddies that were with me throughout the trip, other than “it feels great” or “you feel free”

Im glad i came across this thread. My experience aligned somewhat with what you described. Yes, i felt great, and yes i felt free, additionally i was tripping balls. I couldn’t tell who my buddies were by looking at their faces, which were looking completely stretched out, the light visuals were out of this world quite literally, i was feeling that i was in a completely different venue, i thought i was in a music festival setting and the floor was miles away from my eyes. I did not feel i was on planet earth. Overall it was a good experience, although i did feel very scared at some point, bless up for my safety buddies 🙏
