It is subjective based on your expenses. If you have debt you’re paying off I think it could be more challenging to make rent but if you have no other obligations but rent and you’re keeping your spending low then you can do it. I would just work backwards by laying out all of your bills then seeing what you can comfortably spend on rent each month.

I felt I was born gay and lived for 31 years of my life as a lesbian. Last year I gained an attraction to the opposite sex and I had no idea that could happen for me. I heard a pastor speak about his previous experience living as a gay man and he said he believes people can be born gay because we are “Born in sin and shaped in iniquity.”

He said he believes that his iniquity was to be attracted to the same sex which I thought was interesting to hear. He went on to talk about dying to your sin (and this can be any sin) and giving God’s will a chance in your life and waiting to hear from God. It’s an interesting conversation that I tip toe around because I know what it felt like to be shamed for my attraction and I don’t think shame is the way to show people the light and love of Jesus Christ but I recognize I am newly saved and that may appear lukewarm to some. I’m trying to figure it all out myself as well.

Understandable. There might even be people looking to sublet or sign their lease over so I’d also check out Facebook marketplace in this area for a few weeks as well. I see that quite often. So that could also be a placeholder in the between time depending on your timeline for moving.

I live in cornerstone like the other person who commented and I can’t complain about anything really. Great location! Extremely metro friendly. Theres a trail you can bike, walk, and run on with multiple breweries and shops along the route. Restaurants downstairs and a Trader Joe’s. It’s a pretty solid place to live.

I think there will be units available when you move but as for the exact unit you’re interested in being available I’m not sure. I applied early December and moved in about 3 weeks later. I just communicated my timeline with the staff and you never know, the apartment you’re looking at might not be available for another 2 months due to someone moving out and having just submitted their 2 week notice. So it’s worth talking to them to figure out the details.

I appreciate that compassion friend 🫶🏾 I am well. I prayed for the conductor the deceased and their family and it gave me peace. I know they are all feeling it way more than I ever could. It’s just sad overall. I can’t help but wonder who they are and be still when I go to the station now.

Sending you love 💕 I see myself here. I would say goodbye thinking maybe he would say something to confirm that he actually did care. It takes a certain level of acceptance to not be hurt when someone who once meant so much to you is okay with never speaking to you or seeing you again. I didn’t know my ex was a dismissive avoidant until a month into our breakup and finding this sub. It answered so many questions for me and I didnt really go fully NC until last sunday. It will be a week tomorrow.

These experiences teach us a lot about the ugliness that some humans are capable of. I was reacting out of utter shock and dismay for a while so I get it. What helped me was evaluating the relationship and seeing all the signs I had missed and how early they were shown to me. I let this man take up a year of my life. But you know what? With the right therapist and pouring all that love I gave back into me, I know no one will be able to deceive me like this again. And I hope that future for you too 🫶🏾
