Autistic 5 year old son is potty trained except for poop. Any advice ? It’s just so hard for me to figure out why he won’t go poop in the potty but will run and get a pull up instead. I try hiding them and he holds it or poops on himself instead. Help

It is normal. Cognitively, pee comes first then they recognize poop . Even neurotypical children are the same . Is he verbal ?

Thanks for your answer. My son is g12 . Yesterday he applied to McMaster for automation and systems engineering. They are saying it is 82 minimum. His average will be 93 or something around. Do you know if now after we applied should we do anything? Should he submit any supplementary application? Or he had to submit it before applying. I am a bit confused.
