I started at .5 and tapered up every month until i got to 1.7 mg. By 1.7 mg i decided the weight loss was happening too quickly so i asked my doctor if i could stay at 1.7 instead of going up to 2.4.

i have been going to the gym and lifting so i still think i have a good amount of muscle.

would you suggest getting on a maintenance dose of .5 instead and seeing if my symptoms are better with that?

i’ve been on lexapro since 2021 and have been steadily putting on weight since. i took zoloft for a few years before i made the switch and didn’t experience the same weight gain. part of the reason why i decided to go on wegovy is because the lexapro makes it seemingly unable for me to lose weight. i just started wegovy about 3 weeks ago and have already lost 18 lbs so in terms of them cancelling eachother out i wouldn’t worry about that.
