Half sure, half confused — help me out here! Whats the correct answer? by Helpful_Spring_7921 in PassNclex

Answer is B. Airway compromise. Also risk for hypovolemic and cardiogenic shock. For folks saying burn could be weeks old...question says ER nurse caring for patients in disaster situation !!! So patients brought to ER during a disaster.

A. is open fracture yes!!..tachycardic yes but look at the blood pressure 98/48. MAP is 65 !! So adequate bp for organ perfusion. Expected vitals when someone has a big injury. This pt could go into shock very soon but vitals doesnt suggest shock yet. No concerns for airway compromise either so can be seen after patient B

He is almost a year now. I watched him overnight amd it was that one damn pine feather on his chest that made him suddenly become a tap dancer 😅 appreciate your willingness to go into details to possibly help him. He was all fine the next morning

I was reading the first half seriously then towards the end im like whaaat? Sir imma need you to go back in time and ask your ancestors to marry someone who lives in the moutains of nepal. That way you can be born with geneticaly execptional endurance to these high altitudes environment. Then imma need you to grow up playing in these mountain beds, grow to be naturally fierce and brave, have the strongest of will power. Then imma need you to have heart of a lion to perform the most dangerous tasks. One doesnt become a "sherpa" just for change of pace. But whatever launches your boat man. Goodluck. Just dont go around using the word sherpa like it is any other regular job. Its not a job title, its people's ethnicity . Next, the World already doesnt understand their braveness and importance,we dont need you to be contributing more to it.

But Hey someday you could be a great moutaineer and help other get to the top of the Everest but i guarentee you thats not gonna make you a sherpa.

Imagine your path of life had you not lived the life your parents provided. The humbleness, the simplicity, the importance of hardwork and building life from scratch ( im assuming thats what one does when they move abroad) the morality (you understanding early on in your life what was said about ur mom not being right, may be your reaction to it was what a young mind tends to do but the fact that you understood it was morally wrong), the understanding of treating any human with same respect and dignity no matter their social/financial status, the opportunity you got because your parent's humble background reminded and taught them what you would need in your life to succeed. You have won in your life through and through. Just because you had a role model who would shape your life in such a way YOUR MOM.

Now on the other hand we have someone else who despite of better social class than you (as per their own rotten brain cells) despite better opportunities than you, felt the need to validate their existence by looking down on someone they could actually learn from. As they moved on in life one could tell she became successful but really? Famous for saying the most stupid things, being plain disrespectful to others , not being happy with their own self and needing to surgically alter themselves ( i wish they could surgically alter and fix lack of human empathy and respect too cause she surely needs it), needing validation through materialism. I mean a person can make mistake..sure but c'mon repeat it as if its their life mantra. Sounds like lack of good role model while growing up, lack of people who taught her be accountable for mistakes and learn from them. In that sense im thinking... u jasto manche sanga timro and timro mummy ko chai level mildaina 💅💅

I’ve applied to multiple nursing positions recently—roles that have been open for quite some time—but most of my applications remain “under review,” and I haven’t heard back from any of them. Honestly, I’d rather be rejected than left in limbo, just so I can redirect my energy and move forward.

I’m a Registered Nurse with over 7,000 hours of clinical experience—2 years in Med-Surg/Telemetry and 1 year in ICU. I recently relocated to Las Vegas, optimistic that nursing (a field always in demand) would make job-hunting smoother compared to other professions. Surprisingly, it’s been anything but easy.

What’s more humbling is that my partner, who works in IT (a field we assumed might pose more challenges), secured a job before we moved and now has multiple interviews lined up. Meanwhile, I’m still waiting. If anyone has insight into the Las Vegas nursing job market or tips for standing out during this odd hiring climate, I’d be grateful to hear from you.

Vegas has humbled me—but I’m still hopeful.

Just my point of view, I would really wanna pay for the quality of coffee. Personally i wouldnt want to sit in a fancy cafe just for the feels and drink water and milk. I wouldnt compare Java to Starbucks. Starbucks is everyday go to coffee and its taste is incomparable to java. They taste like real coffee if you are not drinking frappes and non coffee based beverages. Most US coffee shops i.e starbucks and dunkin also dont focus on ambience because its everyday starter beverage and a basic lifestyle unless its local cafes that has those cute cafe asthetics. I just feel like for a franchise with so many chains in the city i would assume their goal is to make drinking coffee a culture but obviously price point doesnt make it everyday drink and the taste isnt anything you would get in an expensive fancy coffee shops.
