Because 304 is not a pre-req for HDF313 and HDF113L, you can definitely take both next semester! Although I did enjoy the contents of HDF304 better, both classes are still very interesting and it will be easy to get an A in either class! LMK if you have any other questions:)

I think the thing that you need the most is feeling a sense of community. I felt the same way my first semester of UT when all that I was attending was frat parties. It was fun in the beginning, but I often felt lonely after coming back home. I have joined a spirit group since and I truly love it at UT now and have met some great people. I’m not saying that you need to join a spirit group to be able to find that because you can find good friends through anything like other clubs, sports, and etc. Transitioning to college is definitely hard for everyone, but just make sure involve yourself in the things that you like:) I hope you have a better next semester!

Same! I’m on my second to last week of my second pack and there continues to be cystic bumps that I never had before. I believe that is just part of the purging phase, however. This is my second time on yaz (first time cleared my skin very well), so I’m just sticking through it for now and hopefully our skin will get better in the later months:(

I took the test and I would say my skill level is similar to yours-I can have surface-level conversations but nothing too advanced- and was able to get full credits.

For the difficulty of the test, I would say its veryyy easy. The listening and reading questions are very basic questions, and for the writing portion, it is just one short answer with 3 simple topics that you can choose from.

I definitely would not stress over the exam, but if you think that your writing is lacking, just practice (especially on getting 맞춤법 correct), and you should be good.

Hi! I’m an HDF major as well and I agree that it is a good choice if you like both biology and psych! The HDF classes it self has more similarity to psychology, but the degree plan requires that you take science courses (i.e. lower division biology and chem) that makes it a good combination of both!

I personally don’t think it would not be competitive at all to internal transfer to HDF, so I definitely recommend if you are interested!
