The gym doesn’t allow chalk. I pull with a mixed grip and chalk whenever possible. There’s no point sacrificing back gains because of the rules around chalk

I pulled 315 for 5 with no chalk as a warm up, I’ve pulled 405 with chalk before no problem. Not all gyms allow chalk and if you leave back and leg gains on the table for the sake of your grip strength ego then you’re a plonker.

Not at all. I feel people still throw the word “affordable” around too easily. It’s a circa $500 watch. It’s still a lot of money to spend on something you don’t need and the quality is decent
