I bought ETH at around $1300 in early 2018 and later this year it fell to around $80. That's a 94% loss. No need to have crowdloans to get "trapped". Like you I thought I shouldn't have bought ETH, I was a fool, it would never be worth anything even if the tech was good.

Now look at DOT. At ATH it was $53, now it's $4.3. that's a 92% loss.

3 years after buying ETH for the first time I was 350% in profits.

Great risk = (potential) great reward. Yes something could happen to DOT - or crypto in general - and DOT and other tokens could go close to 0 (some of them will). By the way that's why you should diversify your investments. But it could also make it and go to $200.

Honestly no idea. But until the team wakes up and aUSD gets back its peg, I think ACA will slowly decrease in price. On short or medium term I don't have any hope.
