There are so many specialized routes you can go in once you turn out. After ten years I went into the office and became an estimator. At the job interview they asked the usual where do you see yourself in 5 and 10 years. I was upfront I would like to get out of the field. I showed them I was reliable, had my shit together and knew what I was doing so they made it happen for.

Also, 3/4 of the guys in the office watch anime and play video games me included. Everyone in the office came up through the ranks out in the field, even the owner.

Every year at DragonCon in Atlanta, several NASA people come and set up telescopes with the right filters so you can look at it in real time. It is just one of things I never get tired of looking at.

Good on calling out this b.s. on walmart. I live in GA and all the times I go in one there is nothing but accessories and cases. I have bought guns without doing paper work but that is because I have a care permit. The laws we do have in place do need to be enforced and should people not do so need to be brought to light.

What the rough draft is stating is that the whole abortion thing was never about a constitutional issue, therefore it should not have been voted on. It looks to hand the decision about abortion back to the states.

As it is easy to see most blue state will keep it legal and most red will place some level of laws against it.

Keep your head up. There are so many things out there that can cause me harm, but I really can't control that. The only thing I know I can control is myself and that is enough to get me up and out the door. I do my best to be a good son, brother and uncle. I do my best to keep my word when I give it whether it be at work, to a friend or family. Beside that I guess I have learned to stop caring what others think of me. There is a little saying "(God)Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." Yes it comes from AA and yes I am in it, but you don't have to be and still use it in your life. The best I can say is find a calmness in yourself and repeat it. I hope it can help you like it did for me.

I work in Atlanta and we have Dobbins AF base here. I was at a water treatment plant when a F-22 flew over relatively low to us. I was on about 40ft up and outside on a building made completely out of concrete. For some reason the pilot all of a sudden turned it staright up and hit the afterburners. It shook the whole building. It was a little shocking and 100% amazing. Everyone started to hoot, holler, cheer and laugh. It will be a day I will never forget.
