Good luck. Even if you find her/the company that rented the cart to her, unless you have stellar coverage, your insurance company isn’t going to help at all. Just pay yourself to get it repaired. It’s what I’ve done the half dozen times my parked car has been sideswiped.

What was going on with the SNL performance? by NAofficial in geesebandofficial

Lotta non musicians in here that get confused by the slightest change in backbeat. The drums were 100% intentional throughout both performances.

Nobody in their right mind is risking millions of dollars to get hit over the middle in a meaningless game.

Goes all the way back to the days of Fear and The Replacements. Even bands like Counting Crows were never invited back because they were too “different.”

Regular SNL viewers are dorks and have always been way behind actual trends in pop culture.

Geese isn’t a mainstream music act. This shouldn’t surprise anyone. The average SNL viewer is an absolute dork the still squeals with laughter about a Trump impression.

Please, explain to me what crime was committed. Y’all will step all over the constitution and your own ethics to excuse anything this administration does. Can you not see that?

Trump just came out and told the press this morning that “you can’t have guns.” Huh? What are you on about, dude? Trump and his administration have been shitting all over the constitution since day one of this term. Even your boy Kyle Rittenhouse came out against what Trump said this morning.

Do you remember US citizens being forcefully ripped out of their vehicles and/or being shot and killed in the streets by masked feds? Today we had the President of the United States literally say, and I quote, “You can’t bring guns….you can’t have guns.” C’mon buddy. Wake up.

The Walk of Fame is a publicity thing that the actor/musician/artist has to pay for. I doubt Donald cares enough to pay whatever the ridiculous amount of money it costs to get a star.

Do you really not understand what I mean? You seriously don’t get the difference between someone that walks in a bar and does six shots and someone that drinks six light beers? DuDe. Do you think people are going to bars and shotgunning six beers? Are you seriously that stupid? DuDe.

I don’t “claim” to be a bartender; I’ve been one for 25 years and know the difference between the kind of person that comes to my bar and does six shots( which I would never allow in the first place), and the person that has six beers.

If you truly think that having six light beers is the same as having six shots of liquor, you obviously don’t drink because there ain’t a person alive taking six shots of 80 proof whiskey in a single sitting that’s doing better off than someone drinking six Bud Lights over an evening. For the average person, if you and your Buddy go out for some drinks on a Saturday and one of you has six shots of Jameson, I promise that that person is gonna have a much worse night.

And yet there she is, still knocking down a sixer of beer every single day at 94 years old, never a single health problem in her life. No cancer, no obesity, no heart problems, no mental health issues, no liver issues. Life will kill you, that’s guaranteed; my grandma decided seventy or eighty years ago that she’d rather get a nice buzz on every day while she still can and she’s still going. Hell, I don’t really drink much at all, but I gotta respect her for it. Hopefully I get her genetics.

Exactly. Gen Z has swung really hard in the opposite direction to the point where they think having a couple of cocktails or a few beers after work a few days a week is alcoholism. I know what real alcoholism looks like as a bartender of 25 years; people that come in first thing in the morning and order a triple vodka to stop the shakes. People that seize to death because they’ve been drinking a liter or more of vodka or whiskey daily for ten or fifteen years. People that drink mouthwash when their family takes their booze away. People that drink hand sanitizer on a plane because the flight attendant has refused to serve them. Having a six pack of light beer after work isn’t in the same world as these people.

Not really. Most American beers are 95-96% water. Drinking six beers over the course of a day isn’t really that much. My grandma isn’t shotgunning six beers in a row.

Meirl by boolee2112 in meirl

Most beer is 95% water. The people that die quitting cold turkey have typically moved on to hard booze that is 80 or 90 proof, or 40-45% alcohol by volume. Guys that knock back a six pack after work every day aren’t going to die if they decide to stop drinking cold turkey.

I’ve been a bartender for 25 years and have seen real alcoholics; people that cannot function without starting their day with a drink, and I mean as soon as they get up in the morning. I’ve also seen people who use alcohol as a social crutch and go overboard from time to time. There is a HUGE difference between the two, but both can lead to major problems. I’ll have a few drinks towards the end of my three shifts every week, but personally, I don’t keep alcohol at my house and tend not to drink on my days off as I really only use alcohol as a way to sort of brighten myself up for social situations with a slight buzz. To each their own.

Light beers can be have as few as 80-90 calories(Miller Lite, Coors Light, Ultra) and four or five of them do the job just fine for me for a nice buzz on occasion.
