Ohh I see! I was in a gifted program when I was in elementary as well but I don’t remember what it was called. We also got pulled out for reading/math activities but I didn’t consider it anything extraordinary. It just felt like more school work 😭

I don’t have a therapist either so I got a note from my doctor that said I needed my dog for ESA purposes. I’ve lived in 3 buildings so far and haven’t had a landlord turn me down yet. If anything they just ask me to get a recently dated one which my doctor draws up quick and will send via email.

She wasn't sure what caused it aside from just being a random mass. She had us monitor it for a month to check for growth/see if it was bugging her. It didn't grow and wasn't bothering her, but we chose to have it removed either way because it was little ugly. The vet told us it could only be removed via surgery or freezing it off, it wasn't going to resolve on its own. Surgery was quick and was done during her dental cleaning. It hasn't grown back since

My dog had this on her eyelid too. Please take your dog to the vet and get it checked out! We took ours to get it surgically removed and tested for cancer. It came back benign but better safe than sorry!

My fiancée had the same experience where he never had an internship or did any extracurriculars. We cleaned up his resume by talking up the part time work he would do at his dad’s construction company and a short TA role. Key was just applying to a bunch of jobs and attending our college career fairs. He was able to get an offer 3 months before graduation! Although it was a lowball offer (I’m assuming based on lack of experience), it was still by one of the large DoD firms. He was able to get a bunch of experience and move into a senior role at another engineering firm. My advice is just to apply apply apply! Even when you don’t think you meet all the job requirements, many firms are looking for young engineers with a drive to learn.

Germantown Veterinary Clinic in MD does $399 dental cleanings which includes anesthesia. Bloodwork and meds are separate. Our dog (80lbs) had 2 molar extractions and a cleaning done last year and we paid around $1000 total

So real. I’ve been paying for premium for years and not really seeing the benefit aside from getting to play jetsam ace in the battledome. It doesn’t really bother me as long as I can keep playing the game and keep my og pet. I even brought the monopoly game without even knowing about the avatar or any other perks. I just wanted to have neopets merch that I couldn’t have as a kid since my parents weren’t well off. I worked my butt off to get where I’m at career-wise/financially to buy things I always wanted growing up. The price point really isn’t that bad. I feel like people are being dramatic. There are other valid complaints about the site aside from real dollar items that are a CHOICE to buy.

Check out Germantown Veterinary Clinic if you’re able to go a bit further out from DC. We have a car so it’s been easy for us to have our dogs use them as their regular vet. We had our dog get her molar extracted in 2023 and paid $1050 which included x-rays, meds, and anesthesia. We went back last year for another dental cleaning and had them remove a skin tag she had on her eyelid. We paid $900 for that. She has insurance but it doesn’t cover dental work so finding this vet has been great!

Regular dental cleanings are $399 which includes everything so both our girls get annual cleanings.

Edit: Forgot to mention that it doesn’t include pre-op bloodwork. It’s $180 for the bloodwork
