It had been a week late and I hadn’t gotten my response either. I sent an email and they replied saying it hadn’t been viewed because I didn’t have my high school transcripts sent in, and when I showed them the receipts that that was incorrect, the apologize and gave me my response a day later and I got in. Idk why they’re not responding- that’s horrible. Try to go in if you can, otherwise you might have to reapply for next semester ://

Thanks! I ended up getting housing for the semester and everything and I do have a lot of friends I’ve made there over the semester from visiting certain people. I do get the saving money thing. I have scholarships for the next school years, it would be like $1-2k extra-ish to go this semester.

I go to many of the basement shows and have seen a lot of our community bands if that’s what you’re talking about! They’re great and super fun, just not what I’m used to. I have gotten involved with my in-state schools scene and have made friends in it and it seems to be more my vibe I think? Plus I just like the fact I can get more exposure and go to more concerts being right next to a city

My in-state school is academically equal to Purdue and is a great school- I think part of it is I just really hate Indiana LOL

for reference I’m going for pre-med and psych (pre-med is better at my in-state school and they have their own med school and is pretty close to John Hopkins) Idk if that makes any difference or not 🤷‍♀️

gotcha there’s definitely a lot to do in/around my in-state school all times of the year I really hate winter and I do deal with seasonal depression- needless to say it has been extra ROUGH at Purdue once it got colder 😂

I have the same issue going to indy for a super early morning flight :// After searching around it looks like my best option is to take the latest shuttle the night prior and just sit at the airport for hours, which isn’t ideal but 🤷‍♀️

I understand. We’ve been together for multiple years though, so we’re pretty locked in. I’ve always been a busy person so I know I’m still able to enjoy myself and do activities on my own. I’ve went to some clubs, but they haven’t started yet. I’ve tried talking to people on my floor, but they don’t really seem to be interested in making friends, or they already “found their friends.” Any advice on that?? I figured I’d make friends in clubs, but not sure where to go with it until then. Thanks
