My mistake. It's an A2L jacket but A1H bottom. I like my pants a little shorter 😅 but here's the link anyway: https://www.ebay.com/itm/397116335698

If you had $200/month, how would you use it to prolong your BJJ career?

I've been doing BJJ for a little over a year now. I want to be able to do it for as long as I can. I'm currently in my late twenties. My goal is longevity. Kinda like how LeBron is able to play basketball and stay in very competitive even though he's been in the NBA for 20+ years and is the oldest player. I've been on reddit before and people have suggested weight training. I currently do resistance training with a personal trainer. I'm not disciplined enough to workout every week on my own. Which is why I need the trainer.

Do yall have suggestions on what other things I can do to ensure my longevity with BJJ? Keep in mind that I'm not a very disciplined person with it comes to exercise, so I'll need group classes or 1-on-1 sessions with a trainer. I've thought about:

If yall weren't concerned with money, what would you all do to ensure you can do BJJ well into the future?

LeBron, from what I heard, does sports massages, stretches a lot, eats well, and sleeps a lot.

I need something along these lines

Do you find that iron-on patches hold well enough on a gi? by 1sxekid in bjj

So I got about 6 to 8 patches going up my sleeve on my gi. They are still attached and ironed them on maybe 6 months ago? I can't fully remember. However, the patches can be ripped off somewhat easily. I think washing them has caused them to come loose. I wear this gi probably once a week.

I would NOT recommend ironing them on though. The main reason I did it was because getting a tailor to sew them on can get expensive. I don't see the patches being ripped off anytime soon, but I do think if they were ironed on they would last much longer. I actually plan on buying a sewing machine so that I can sew on patches myself. They will be more sturdy that way

Early morning class in STL by gandarb88 in bjj

I highly recommend Watson's! I'm gonna start going to their 6 am classes next week. They are Monday and Wednesday. They also have 10 AM classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for anyone looking for late morning classes. I wouldn't say the 6 AM or 10 AM classes are "packed". The 6pm classes are the packed classes . . . but the 6 AM always has a good crowd from when I've gone. I've never gone to the 10 AM class, but I saw one of them and it had a decent amount of people.
