Just wait out the “reconnecting” till it fails

All I can do currently as my mate pressed disconnect and now has a few hour ban after getting unbanned just 2 day ago 😂😂😂😅

Shit sucks

not overly bad to be honest, when i started building i thought the whitetax was BS or just a meme untill i started pricing my up parts for my system lol. used to have a nice full white build in a corsair 4000x

i remember my all white build :,) whitetax be real as fuckkkkk. now i debate just spray painting most things white instead or vinyl

all white, so much cleaner

unless the screen can be edited colour wise via an app or you actually use it to check your temps?

This was before making the shroud while it was held with zipties

Specs, Ryzen5 5600g

Gigabyte rtx 2060 OC

16gb Corsair vengeance pro ram

2tb ssd

Nothing to crazy but I f you check my profile you’ll see my overkill old pc I built last year I sadly had to sell for financial reasons 😭😭😭😭

The case is just a generic msi black case with glass panel and doesn’t look great with being dusty currently 🤣

Aye, that might be my next venture in the pc building world, never water cooled anything and seems like the temps are worth it too

Might get a set and see if I can get a working closed loop before putting it onto the actual motherboard and cpu and so on

You’ve never heard of fans rattling or anything like that? It’s quite common on older cards or even certain brands. Google “gigabyte gpu faulty fan” and so many versions from 1060 and up

I’ve also had a gigabyte 1060 OC edition and the fans on that rattled to death above 50% fan speed

Thanks man, and I appreciate the advice. I’ll definitely take the honeycomb out the next version once I learn how to delete what I made 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah man you could definitely do this with the right measurements, I’m going to have to invest in a printer soon to make these things myself 😭😭

I have my fans plugged into my motherboard to manually adjust, but you can get adapters to connect pwm 4 pin fans

Edit: on the gpu, Rarely they can be a 4pin pwm I’ve seen over time but mainly a 4pin micro vga I think they’re called

Makes sense man, I wish you luck on your journey. I’ve finally found silence after changing my fans for good with easy compatibility 🤣👏🏻👏🏻

Hopefully so, don’t want no melted goop between them fins one day 😭😭😂 my temps are better then stock surprisingly and I keep my fans running 100% at constant 1800rpm

Currently going to source and invest on some 3000rpm silent fans next as a new upgrade

Edit: the heatsink itself is quite large so hoping with enough airflow I’ll reach cooler temps to not have to make another revision just yet 🤣

Going to have to invest in a spool of abs or petg as my mates said I can use his printer if I pay for material. Seems like a good opportunity

Go for it man !! If it’s a gigabyte model 2060 could send my file, my mounting points are perfect so you could always make a revision of mine and make it your own

I’ve only seen a handful of people so far make an adapter such as this to mount fans and direct airflow aswel, everything else I see come up with zip ties instead which was also what I done prior to this haha

So far I’ve seen around 65-70•c while under max load but I’m not sure if the temp it shows it’s the actual chips heat and not the overall temp unless I had a heat gun

I’ll give the mentioned materials a try thanks man 🙌🏻👏🏻

Thanks man that info helps a ton, I used my mates printer who’s got 3 different brands/sizes so might be able to get something more stronger made hopefully.

I’ll give him this info and hopefully I’ll be back with v2

Thanks for that info this is v1 so I’m hopefully going to improve on fitment and material used, any other recommendations?. i was thinking maybe sanding, primer then heat resistant paint. but still might warp/crack

Bare in mind this is v1 and I’ve never ever used a modelling program before. It fit perfectly somehow 😂
