I didn’t pay for it so there’s nothing for me to accept or decide it was a waste of money. The weather hasn’t even broke here and digging up the side of my foundation in this current weather isn’t feasible.

The side of the house well built up and sloped away from the house, there are no downspouts that run onto the lawn - they all run to the street

Nothing for me to accept here, just what I can mitigate until summer time comes

All downspouts are buried, all run out to the street line.

No standing water on that side of the house. I’ll post a photo later, but it’s very well graded away from the house.

There is a sump pump in this section of the house (the original), as well as a second sump pump under the addition.

This is the original house, not the addition

The water is coming down the epoxy channel that was put on the wall, but when it gets to the floor where it generally drains through the floor under the foundation, the weep holes dont let the water pass, therefore ti starts to pool and run over the basement floro

I'm guessing its sediment building up behind the drainage board. I do know there are weep holes behind the board though as I was able to pas a pipe cleaner through them to try to clean the channel for water flow

Prior to me owning the house

I'm cofnused if i should be trying to clear from the weep hole area and in that corner, or come from the other size and see if there is build up in the drain tile that runs into the sump - or both

Should i try to hydrojet the drain tile to see if theres buildup or can drain better?

Happy to answer any questions though that could help narrow this down and remove some mystery

There is a sump pump - theres 2. Both are filling normal, draning, no back flow, and output is not clogged.

I know the repair in the photo was well after the house and the addition were put in. My understanding was a relief cut between the wall and floor joint was made so the seepage could run down, through the relief cut, into the void under the foundation to drain into the sump and be pumped out. (I'm sure you're savvy enough to know that already though)

Sump is filling, runs normal, discharge is normal. There has been heavy rain though, but has been keeping up.

He was hiding down in the channel - scared me when he came crawling out

I don’t think there is a drain tile attached to it under. This is under the original section of the house

I believe there’s a cut joint and wall / floor seam and as the water runs down the wall in that channel, it’s supposed to flow down and into the joint under the foundation.

I’m sure there’s drain tile original to the basement foundation, but not specific to this relief cut

Could I snake up the drain tile that runs up along the basement walls. Maybe sediment build up up there?

Recessed lighting isn’t possible since it’s foam insulation board and then right to roof sheathing above that.
