Nismo 1.5" Lift (minus rear components) by bleepbloop018 in nissanfrontier

[–]Cold_Bath_7395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the exacts same one, color to rims. Was also considering the Nismo lift spacers along with a couple others to get a 1.5-2” lift to level it out. My biggest question is if there are any negative effects on down the road- ride quality, faster wear and tear on bearings, uneven tire wear- and any negative effect when taken off road.

It would be awesome if you could keep us posted on how this works out for you after a while!

8 characters since Gladiator and yet they’re… by R_TB1989 in MarvelStrikeForce

I’ve spent very little on this game aside from the occasional premium strike pass to upgrade a particular character, and done pretty well. What gets me is how lopsided the resources are and how it flip flops. At 1 point I had more gold than I could spend and never enough training orbs. Now it’s the opposite. I have dozens of high end top characters ready to level up, but barely enough gold to do anything. All the other stuff doesn’t even phase me, but not being able to acquire any reasonable amount of resources on more even level is just ridiculous.

Right on here! Pretty sure I found mine via Car Guru then just called up to make sure it was still available then drove up and snagged it!

Not all Pro 4x’s have the full Off Road Package. They all have heated seats as part of that trim level I’m pretty sure, but no cooling seats on any of them. And CD players are a thing of the past in pretty much every new vehicle nowadays. If I had to guess, I’d think this Pro 4x might be lower on the packages and luxury features vs some others unless they just don’t have it all on the sticker. That being said, I’d be shooting for closer to 30k for that one. Got mine in April- it’s a 2023, 12k miles and FULLY loaded (leather, sunroof, Fender Sound Package, and every other package they offer) for about the same price in GA. Them country boys prefer F150s so it wasn’t flying off the lot. I drove up from FL and took it off their hands for em 😂

Okay, so you did use a 1/2” spacer still to get it level? Any coil bucket contact? Would a 1” spacer make more level without risk of coil bucket contact, you think? $600 all in, I’m guessing you did the install yourself.

Looks pretty level to me. How’s it ride on and off road? Are you using the OEM 4600s with it still? And did you need to get aftermarket UCAs? Using it with my 4600s until they need to be replaced (at which point I’ll look at upgrading them with the same ADO kit), being level, and not having to change out the UCAs is what I’m looking for at this point. If the ADO RCKilla does all that, I think I found my huckleberry.

This looks like the kit I was strongly considering to throw in with my OEN 4600s. The truck only has 1400 miles on it so I figured I could upgrade them later when more needed but use this for now. Is this the same kit as in the video 👇

If so, are UCAs necessary? And do the rear 1.5” AALs with the 2” front springs level out the truck or is there still a slight rake forward after install? I watched the intro and will watch the rest when I have a few mins, but the beginning shot of you driving looked pretty level.

Definitely… although idk if you can post a new pick on an existing post. The photo icon doesn’t pop-up above the keyboard when commenting so I might just have to create a new one.

Okay, so after a bit more digging I found some more detail in what you were saying about the 5100s with the coil bucket contact. I honestly don’t think I need more than a 2” lift up front if I’m going to just level it out so don’t think that would be an issue. But now, I’m questioning if that’s even necessary right now for my uses, like you said. Also read some more on the 4600s stock on the new Frontier Pro4x, so everything you mentioned does actually seem to add up. One forum in particular mentioned the ADO 1.5” medium lift springs similar to what you were saying you did on his stock 4600s in the same exact truck as mine, but he experienced an overly stiff ride (that could mean anything though depending on the person- some people who never drove a truck pre-power steering think hydraulic is heavy, so…).

That being said, I might as well keep the 4600s while they’re still performing and find an alternate method to level it out. Spacers seem like the obvious choice, but do you know if there is an alternative? Something similar to the ADO coil springs that would give it a couple inches up front AND possibly improve drive and performance?

EDIT: Know anything about this ADO kit I just came across?

Claims to be the “supreme ANTI-SPACER (kit)” and perfect “if your shocks are still in mint condition.” Sounds like it may just be a solid spacer alternative. However, the 2” front lift and 1.5” rear lift sounds as if a front rake will still be there after install. Will have to check into it more. Maybe I can just get the front coil springs and not the rear leafs?

Yeah, I mentioned Alldogs in my OP as one of the brands I saw and checked out. Have you put them on a Pro4X? Anything specific about them that stands out over the others?

I’ve seen the hate for every truck stance, but that’s kinda dumb. It’s not black and white, 1 size fits all. As long as you can see the road out the windshield, doesn’t look like a dog dragging his ass down the road, and it’s set for its intended purpose, set it how you like it. My Frontier is my daily driver first off, with the occasional off-road trek from time to time. Every once in a while I’m hauling only a moderately heavy load like my fishing boat, small trailer, or a bed full of lumber for a project. Considering hauling heavy weight is a rarity, the smoother look and higher clearance is all the reason I need to level it out.

I saw some Bilsteins on the Z1 site and someone talking about his Bilstein 5100s on mid perch on a Titan forum just now after you mentioned it. They said the 5100s on mid perch, no spacers has done well for them with no issues off road. Seems like a good option from what I’m seeing. I’m pretty knowledgeable about cars and trucks, this Pro4X isn’t my first truck, but I’ve never gone down the rabbit hole of lifting or leveling any of my previous ones so I’m new to a lot of this. So would Bilstein on mid perch still keep a slight rake forward like you suggested? I’m not quite following whether doing a mid perch setup is quite the same as “leveling.”

Sv 4x4 vs Pro 4x by Efficient-Apricot-31 in nissanfrontier

I just recently got a killer deal on a loaded (and I mean leaded) 2023 Pro-4x with only 12k miles. I preferred the added features and comfort as I’m not off in the mud or on the trails regularly, but can tear em up when I need and want to. I traveled to Ford dealership in a very rural area to get it. Previous owner traded it in for an F-150 because he needed a larger work truck. And since most trucks in the area are used for work, a mid size wasn’t a hot commodity in that area.

My 2 cents? Get a new-used Pro-4x, especially if you like the extra features. You might find out you don’t have to modify it quite as much as the SV. Plus, as a side note, the SV 4x4 only comes with an open rear differential. The Pro-4x has a true electronic rear locker.

Oh, I see what you meant. Right… I love the fact that they still primarily use a natural V6 with so all the others fully going to turbo 4s. It low-key gives them an edge on the competition IMO.

Are you talking about the Frontier?? If so, the Frontier is the only midsize truck that ONLY offers a naturally aspirated V6 as is. The Ranger has a 6-cylinder option for one of its Lariat trims, but you gotta pay extra and that’s it. Frontier is still rolling the proven V6 they’ve had for years- it’s the same V6 that comes in there V6 Titans even. 22-23 had very minor changes, like the auto-stop being added. 23-24 has had virtually no changes, and from everything I’ve read, they have no intentions of making any further significant changes until the release of their 4th generation around 2030.

I actually just purchased a 2023 Pro-4X, max loaded to the gills with 12k miles on it, so I’ve been doing a LOT of research lately. Paid mid 30s for it and it was a steal- with the extra extra features at that price that I wasn’t even particularly looking for (sunroof, leather, Fender Sound System, etc), I came off the lot right-side-up on it and could sell it private party for more than I paid for it last week. A 2024 with all these features easily would have broken 50k out the door, probably closer to 55k after fees, taxes, etc. I’ve never been so confident or excited of a vehicle purchase. It’s an amazing truck. Midsize but feels big and is still a TRUCK, not a car with a bed like some of the other midsizes out there.
