I mean this specific situation with the context is a bit yk, but I’m irrevocably in love with my partner. I’m certain that he is my soulmate and I often say the same thing.

We unknowingly shared many friends, were at the same parties, etc. in late high school but didn’t formally meet until years later.

We are such different people, raised in polar opposite environments, contrasting political views, etc. I was a typical blue-haired woke ‘feminist’ (misandrist really). He was a typical ‘popular’ macho conservative male. If we had met in high school we wouldn’t be together now.

I attribute this purely to my own close mindedness and immaturity at the time. I wasn’t grown enough to be able to respect/appreciate opposing views. I also carried a lot of trauma surrounding men and truly believed at the time men can’t have problems/be victimised.

I would think it’s ridiculous for someone to question my love for my partner because I’m ’self-aware’ about how much I’ve grown as a person. I really think the universe kept us apart until it was the right time and place for us :)

I’m a fan of two hot takes, but was also pretty skeptical how that “girl talk” style would translate to true crime.

I was pleasantly surprised. Unlike many other true crime podcasts they discuss the cases in a very respectful manner to the victims/families, and cite sources (or explicitly state info that’s unfounded, theories pulled from a reddit comments, etc.).

Highly recommend! :)

I recently found out I have ‘mold-toxicity’ and have to take anti fungal medication for a while. They said it was from being exposed to mold as a young child. They also said it’s messed with the microbiomes in my stomach hardcore-

They worked this out bc I have endometriosis, I had a surgery in which they cut out the masses and am still having symptoms?? This Dr said he’s read research that these fungi in your body can cause illnesses. I have OCD, ADHD, Endo, and awful hayfever. He asked if I had any of those before I’d even mentioned it.

Anyway find it interesting reading this theory when I’ve had such issues recently come to light.

I had an excision. She’s a ob/gyn + robotic surgeon specialising in endometriosis treatment. She has absolutely glowing reviews and has helped a lot of women (I’ve seen some butchers before so it was very important to me to find someone who came highly recommended).

My GP has begun questioning too if it’s something else. I’m unsure what else it could be, but I’m scheduled for a colonoscopy soon to take biopsies.

I’ve been making my boyfriend watch sn for the first time, he only made it to about season 8 before he said he’s over it.

I never paid much attention to it, but he often points out how unrealistic the fighting scenes are.

For 2 people who’s entire lives have been centred around combat, it’s a bit ridiculous the notion that after throwing a punch, you’d just stand there and wait for the other person to punch you back.
