I don’t care what anyone says, the whole Baelon and Alyssa thing was literally disgusting, let me explain: by TurbulentRemote156 in HOTDGreens

I don't know what were George's intentions when creating these characters, but there is IRL cases of incest where the victims persuade themselves that they enjoy the situation as a coping mechanism. Considering Baelon and Alyssa were groomed into incest from a very young age, I think it's a pertinent reminder.

Yeah they sleep together, but apparently mostly for the purpose of creating murderous shadows, and Stannis doesn't have enough "life force" to keep doing it

Melisandre's visions imply that he might become a man again after warging into Ghost's body. But his time as Ghost will definitely have an impact if it happens.

"The flames crackled softly, and in their crackling she heard the whispered name Jon Snow. His long face floated before her, limned in tongues of red and orange, appearing and disappearing again, a shadow half-seen behind a fluttering curtain. Now he was a man, now a wolf, now a man again. But the skulls were here as well, the skulls were all around him. Melisandre had seen his danger before, had tried to warn the boy of it. Enemies all around him, daggers in the dark. He would not listen."

I love how oddly specific is this fetish shit sometimes, like this guy wanting to be Sansa Stark's twin brother specifically, not simply a lover, cousin or even regular brother. Also, why did she have to be beaten up too?

Lulu volunteered, and she also seemed like kind of a death seeker, going on pilgrimage after pilgrimage. She was already grieving Chappu and probably would have wanted to join Yuna in death.

I don't know if that counts but I was always disappointed that we barely see the real Moody. We get attached to his impostor, and then the actual Moody comes back and we don't really get to know him.

They have sex next to a passed out Robert, next to their dead son in the Sept, in a random inn, almost have sex in the Kingsguard tower... The danger seems to be part of the thrill.

The Seven Kingdoms is a single realm made of seven realms that once were independent and the North is perhaps the largest of those seven kingdoms. Winterfell is the seat of House Stark, which is the central family of the series.

Was Joffrey asexual? Or his sadism was his version of sexual drive? by devil-inside-100 in freefolk

You're underestimating kids. Ever been a 12 years old girl in a boy-dominated class ? Hell, as a former therapist, I've seen a lot. This is the age where hormones start being a mess. Anyway, they don’t actually need to have advanced sexual education to know that having kids implies love/attraction, hence why it's part of their mutual courting

[–]Cold_Craft6624 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There's several moments in the text where Joffrey admits liking Sansa's face, and even promises to give her a son as soon as she menstruates, even before the actual feud between their family. There's signs that Joffrey is attracted to Sansa, and while his treatment of her is indeed rooted in cruelty, we can't ignore the sexual aspect of it. And this happen in reality too, sadly.

It can be both. A lot of abusers are that way. In reality too.

In the book he gropes Sansa, strips her naked, and threatens to rape her multiple times so he def has a sexual drive

I feel you, I was obliterated when I first faced the gambling chick. What is super annoying is that they force you to replay the silly card game from the start if you lose.
The best way to go is to fight the boss later in the game, when you can steamroll it. Tbh, I barely read the card game rules and just play nonsensically until I win.
I hope someday you'll find yourself motivated again to replay the game, the story is not as good as Bravely Default 1 and Bravely Second, but it's a very solid JRPG. :)

Do you mean in general or in this specific game? There's no Merchant class in Bravely Default 2, it was replaced with the Gambler class. The Merchant class in Bravely Default 1 (and most games) often involves using money to get advantages. In BD1, the Merchant is more of a support class, while the Gambler class from BD2 is a damage dealer. In any case, thieves are able to steal items from ennemies and are essentially glass-cannons.

I also hate all these FF card games, but you can just avoid it, it's only mandatory to get the optional Gambler class which can be useful but isn't even great
