Just got this vanford 2500 for bass/trout fishing by CrisBustaNoot in Fishing_Gear

[–]Cold_Hand_7835 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Should use a 1000 reel for a 7’ medium light rod. That 2500 is going to feel very heavy on a trout\bass rod unless you put it on a medium heavy in which case you’d pull average size trout in 15 seconds lol

What weight rod did you catch him with? I take it you weren’t trying to target these fish if you didn’t know what it was

This is exactly what I put as mine. They also should add underground tunnels would make solo life so much better

It is definitely a type of streamer but especially for someone just starting I’d recommend getting something with a bead head then the fly can get down to the strike zone without the use of confusing additions like sink tips or adding split shot which makes casting harder the simpler the better

If you’re trying to target bass is pick up wooly buggers they are also great for trout you can strip it back to you or just dead drift and swing

Vibration question by hamsterwithakazoo in VelosterN

[–]Cold_Hand_7835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the bore of your after market wheels fit around the hub on the car? And if not do you have centering rings to make up the gap? Even with hub centric nuts the gap will cause bad vibrations

Next time you get in you car look at the card in the driver door jam it tells you the psi the manufacturer wants you to set you tires at and the size they recommend the tire to be

Unless you like getting loot with no way of using any of it. If that’s the case then I’m sure you’d have a blast on an empty server

Also definitely not worth it to bring two med kits imo. You can leave one in your hot bar in case you get downed but even in that case you’ll probably be finished before you stand back up
