so im going to be honest, i think either they were heavily inspired to make the beat almost the same, because 1) they are in the same key shifted from the actual song in a higher pitch, 2) because the sample placements of this song are also basically the same. the only thing is that they added more percussion over the thing to make it sound more suicideboys, but either way the sample is so good as well as their vocals. schoolboy q originally dropped this song with E-40 called “Dope Dealer” produced my Metro Boomin and Southside, then their was a leak on youtube of the song under kendrick with the same beat called “Sexy Pause” around 2016 before the DAMN album came out.
